Once again its that time of year and right on time the people at Boom City show us exactly how…read moreinconsiderate they can be by letting off fireworks at midnight on a Thursday night. You know when the majority of the population have to get up for work in a couple hours. And with it being a warm night, I imagine quite a few windows are open. I just cant get over their sense of entitlement. Let's be real, if a non Indigenous person or persons decided to set off a bunch of air horns at midnight in the middle of the week by Quil Ceda Walmart amd we interrupted their sleep. We all know it would not be tolerated and it would be seen as a cultural issue amd we would be forced to stop. But they can make as much noise as they want, at all hours of the night amd if we say anything, then we are racist against the tribe. Let me make myself clear, I have no problem with the Tulalip Tribe selling fireworks, heck I hope they make bank. My problem is with either them or their customers lighting off fireworks at all hours of the day and night. They used to be respectful during the work week by not setting any off after 10pm. But unfortunately that was years ago, now they dont seem to give a damn. So basically Marysville sounds like a freaking war zone the entire time Boom City is open. The saddest thing is because of Boom City I now hate the 4th of July holiday (and it used to be my favorite). Now I dread June, July, and August. And that's only if they sell out out. The last couple of years they have still be lighting fireworks off into September and October. So please to anyone who is going to buys fireworks at Boom City, please dont like any off while you're there.

I love that they added the swim beach -- it's such a perfect touch! It's great for paddle boarding and all kinds of summer adventures. I also love coming down here in the fall to read a book or journal on those gloomy days. When I want a long walk and some fresh air, this is one of my favorite places to go. The scenery is beautiful, and you can easily spend a good amount of time just walking around and enjoying the water. My only complaint is that I wish there was more parking. Other than that, it's one of my favorite spots to get outside less than 10m from my house

I often bring food from Buddha Brothas and eat with my family and the park benches are mostly clean. What I appreciate about Log Boom is that there is usually a Lake Forest park patrol car parked in the parking lot in case there is an accident. I have gone to other parks and law enforcement is non existent. I once saw a forklift with keys by the park and let a dispatcher know. I'm very pleased by this park. Great views, convenient, and perfect for all ages.
