I remember years ago it was actually a bookstore and I use to come and browse while others shopped but now bookstores are either online or near a college campus...super sad. I just assumed that they would have some cute sneakers along with those hideously ugly walking sneakers that first appeared almost twenty years ago. They actually had some cute and colorful leather sandals and some non-leather sandals and shoes. Unfortunately there was only one attendant in this small store and he was assisting customers so I did not have an opportunity to try on the shoes or ask questions. No problem! I'll just have to check in next time I am in the mall. They are currently having a sale on their sandals so there is no time like the present to check them out!

Their clothing fits every aspect of my family's lifestyle: for me, my husband, and two children. There a one stop shop and now closer to where I live! I didn't realize they have been open there at that location since March 2024, however I'm glad a found them! I love their clothes! Also, they always have a great sale going on! I hate it with a red hot passion. I know. I know. My chick card should be revoked. But its all just too much. The undressing and re-dressing. The people standing too close to me. The random children wandering up to me and 'playing' with my purse. The finding something I love - only to discover they don't have it the color or size I want. Having said all that - I'm a simple girl with simple tastes. And I needed some new shoes. My 'go to' shoes are black flats - specifically Mary Jane style black flats. In the past 20 years - I've probably owned at least 18 pairs. My current pair had been looking pretty crappy for quite some time - and were clearly on their last legs - but yesterday - while at my contract gig - the left one started making embarrassing little 'farting' noises with every step I took. Insert blush. So now that time was of the essence - I went online and selected several pairs of shoes only to discover they didn't have them in size I needed. So I chose any size available - just to generate a 'shopping cart' - then I printed said 'shopping cart' and hot-footed it over to the Famous Footwear Dallas Hwy location. It's spring break for a lot of the kids - so the place was pretty crowded. There was one young lady, Tiffany, working both the floor and the cash register. Tiffany took one look at my printed list and positively beamed at me. After that she was a site to behold - she was running around trying to find all 6 pairs of shoes on my list, while taking care of 6 different customers - yes 6 - I was there for a while and had nothing better to do but keep track. Three of the shoes I wanted were not in stock and she actually took the initiative to bring over 3 different comparable shoes for me to inspect. I know I'm gushing - but this was just such a stellar example of customer service! Not sure why she was the only person working - but she handled the situation like a true champ. She was cute, charming, funny, energetic, patient, determined - and a whole host of other adjectives I'm too tired to type. Not sure if you'll ever see this review - but if so - keep up the good work, Tiffany! You're awesome!

I think I've been to Rack Room Shoes a few times in my lifetime. I can't remember but I thought this was a positive experience. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in and when we told him we were looking for shoes for a growing middle schooler he immediately got to work for us.
