For whatever reason this location is alway dead. I don't really get it because it's inside of a mall which feels unique for a DSW and it's next to two different entrances/exits. There's really never any staff around to ask any question of so if you have questions you have to ask sooner at the till upfront so prepare for a wait But otherwise it's a generic dsw. DSW has never really done it for me but my mom wanted to stop in. The store is organized. To be discount store, I found the prices to still be high for the brands/quality. They have a nice variety of handbags and women's accessories. Many of the items would make good gifts. They do have a decent size clearance section but none of the options are that good. read more

I spent a great deal of time at DSW because I can't wear high heals and was on a mission to find cute sandals and shoes I could wear for the Spring and Summer month's. Two employees approached me if I needed help, a plus, but later I got disappointed. Let me explain, my Mother was with me at DSW and got bored waiting for me to find the best pair of shoes for myself. She had already selected the shoes she wanted and a very cute purse she wanted to buy for herself. She asked me to ask an employee to put her stuff behind the cash register because she wanted to go to another store while I continued to shop. When I was FINALLY done, like an hour later, I went to purchase three (3) pairs of shoes and asked the employee behind the cash register to get my Mom's two (2) items that were put on hold behind the counter for me to pay for them. The employee looked confused and brought up THREE wrong items!! We explained nicely what the items were, shoes and a purse. It took them like 3 minutes as they wandered around the counter looking for our items and then finally came back with just the purse, but the shoes was missing. Again we mentioned the shoes and the brand and it was no where to be seen! Needless to say, another employee had put it back on the damn rack and my Mom had to retrieve the shoes herself!!!! Like who does that??? We were a little annoyed and hence why I give this 3 stars instead of the 4 or 5 stars I would have given DSW. So what I learned, you can't "save" your items at the counter as you continue to shop. My hands were full because all together we bought four (4) pair of shoes and one (1) purse. How can I try on shoes with all of those boxes? So DSW, hope you can fix this problem for the next time I go shopping for more than one item! read more

I have never shopped at a DSW before, and after receiving no service today, it is unlikely that I ever will. I went in today to get sized for a potential shoe purchase (I collect Allen Edmonds and Johnston & Murphy shoes, so I was willing to spend more than just a few pennies.) A salesman came out and asked the young woman in the next isle over if she needed any help. She said no. I was standing there, looking right at him. He told her okay, and walked away to the front desk. (We were to only two people in the store.) I walked out, said "Have a nice day." Heither the salesman or the cashier at the counter even looked up. Well done on losing a potential customer DSW. I am sure that the corporate office appreciates all of your efforts to increase their sales. read more

It's clear why women love this store. At least 80% of the sales floor is full of heels, flats, sneakers, sandals, and everything else that falls into the category. Edward L. and I came here over the weekend to look for some new shoes and neither of us left with anything. The Men's clearance section is literally a corner. Everything else is just blah. I found a pair of super comfortable New Balance, but they were too plain to warrant spending $49. Overall, the store is clean and the employees are friendly. This DSW was really big and the selection was very large. I came to return a pair of shoes I got online because the size was not good, so I stayed to browse and find a new pair. I ended up getting two pairs from the clearance section, they had amazing deals. I wished this store had a bathroom like the other locations do because I hate to leave the store to use the bathroom. The person in the front was so nice and professional. I will definitely come back to this location. read more

This is one of my two favorite locations to buy shoes. The store is neat and there are never shoes thrown around the sales racks. There's no clutter in the aisles and the shoes in the boxes always match. Service is great. The salespeople are nice and helpful. I found a pair of gold Michael Kors heels here on sale. I like that their sales racks are in the back of the store so there is more room to shop. read more

Just wanted to shout out one of the ladies working there- Kimberly was so, so helpful and so kind when I came in frazzled looking for shoes for a funeral. She literally went so above and beyond and actually helped me look up and down aisles for a shoe that I couldn't remember anything about I really needed someone like her in that moment and it put a big bright spot on a pretty rough day. She's just a sweet, lovely woman. Give her a raise! Like $50 an hour raise! I had a great experience with the Cumberland Mall. DSW location. After a terrible experience with the online customer service department, I went to the Cumberland location for assistance after the wrong shoe being shipped to me twice. They understood my frustration and advocated for me with their customer service department to work it out. After deciding that I would never do business with DSW again, I left the Cumberland store a very satisfied customer. Kudos to the manager, Jasmine, and assistant manager, Secedrick. DOING IT RIGHT! This is perfectly situated right inside a main entrance inside of Cumberland Mall. It caught my attention and was the first store I entered. You can enter here get a cool pair of sandals and then proceed to other stores to create the perfect outfit to complement your sandals. Genius! The selection today was great and the line was moving along quite nicely. I really appreciate the signage in this store because you never have to run around asking about prices or that "other" shoe. Everything is conveniently stocked and marked. It is also nice to have the men's selection available as well so that the hubby can browse along with me. Customer service was offering with roving staff who offered assistance and were able to take your charge purchases without having you stand in line. Genius! Is this a new store?? Easily the worst DSW I've ever seen in life. Empty shelves galore and extremely limited selection. It's dark and dank inside, not at all welcoming. But again, if they're new, perhaps this will change soon. Save your good coupons for the Kennesaw or Mall of Ga locations. read more

This is a great store to buy your favorite brands.. Definitely better than any other brands where u got to see only a particular brand for sale.. Here in DSW they have lot of collections and different one also. Its always satisfying to see lot of collection and compare the prices. I use to buy my shoes here and not even a single pair got it bad or torn badly after a hot term of use.. All pairs are intact and thumps up to the store and company. Service is good thy wont big u at all while choosing your pair and you got to have all sizes in the rack itself.. Also they have price drop section in the back where you can buy the items in 20to 75 pc discount and its pretty cool. I always check that first if its not available I will go see the main racks.. Also if you are one of the rewards member you will get coupons and discount rates. I always recommend to everyone for all occasions.. read more

They have a great selection of shoes that are coordinated and displayed by "type" which makes it easier to browse when you have a particular style shoe in mind. They also have sale racks in the back of the store which has a decent variety. read more

It takes a lot of energy to be rude and unprofessional and I'm sure Jasmine has wasted all of her energy on not speaking.
