Inside, the store has several sections featuring SAS shoes, along with a small old-fashioned snack counter offering popcorn, candy, and sodas. The prices were a fun surprise--popcorn was just 25¢, and I believe the soda was only 5¢. In today's world where everything seems to cost more every week, it was a nice little throwback. Beyond the shopping, I enjoyed looking at all the vintage appliances and memorabilia throughout the store. It was interesting to see how much things have changed over the years and appreciate how far we've come. The staff was friendly, and there were plenty of shoe sales happening during my visit. Apparently they are all cobbled by shoe elves, on site, and you can even book factory tours. The place looks like an Old Timey Costco-esque General Store. It's quite large! They offer other items besides shoes here as well. Toys, clothing, candles, jams, jellies, syrups and snacks. They have little baskets filled with different candy, that you can then fill up a bucket with, for a set price. There are employees walking around, waiting to assist you. They also have a collection of vintage automobiles scattered about the property that you can admire. My favorite part was the .25 cent fountain Coke, and the .5 cent bag of popcorn, which is seasoned to perfection. It seems a lot of people come for that experience alone. That was my reason for coming, thanks to the countless videos I have seen on TikTok and IG. Overall, this is a pretty cool place to come and experience firsthand. It's definitely a destination place though, because it is a little off the beaten path. We actually drove about 25 minutes from where we live. But, it was a fun experience. I forgot to mention that they also have an ice cream counter inside, but it was closed the day we went. I will definitely come back for the Coke and popcorn though, and hopefully some ice cream.

As soon as I walked in, I was honestly overwhelmed by how many suits they had. I walked around for a bit trying to find someone to help me, but either the associates were busy with other customers or didn't acknowledge me. Eventually, I approached one associate, and after explaining what I was looking for, he was very helpful. He found my size, the color I wanted, and was informative throughout the process. I was also happy to find out they had a special. It was actually cheaper to buy the full suit than just the jacket alone. So I ended up getting a full suit for the price I originally planned to spend on just a jacket. The issue came with alterations. Since they offer tailoring services, I asked the associate to have the suit tailored to a slim fit. He told me the jacket was fine as is, and that only the pants needed hemming. I trusted his judgment since I'm not too familiar with how suits are supposed to fit. A week later, I picked up the suit, and I wasn't thrilled with how it looked. After trying it on again, I noticed the jacket felt too big. A different associate helped me this time and agreed it needed further tailoring. I had to pay an additional $56 to get it adjusted properly. Overall, K&G is a great place to find a suit at an affordable price, but be cautious with tailoring. Don't be afraid to speak up or ask for a second opinion to make sure you're getting the fit you really want.

The store was similar to the one in Austin but maybe a bit more of a selection. Right away I found alligator boots that are just amazing looking. The person helping us was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the boots. Unlike the other store I first visited, here they also had other clothing and in particular, their jeans. The jeans look nice enough to wear with a jacket for a nice event, but they also have casual jeans. I know these boots are a bit expensive, but they are never going to go out of style and they will last a lifetime. They have so many amazing looks with their boots so I know I will be back for another pair.

There were two gentlemen running the store and even though business picked up a little bit while we were there, they made sure everyone was greeted as soon as they entered the store and managed to assist all of us and quickly get us what we needed. Though my fiancé had a good idea of what he wanted to get, he still utilized the store's Ultimate Fit Experience to make sure what he was purchasing was going to work best for him. Essentially it's two separate sensors that he stood on and walked across that analyzed where he needed extra padding in his shoes to make sure he'd remain comfortable over long periods of time in the shoes. The sales representatives made sure he found appropriate shoes and went so far as to make sure the misprinted voucher his workplace gave him went through when they easily could have told him it was invalid or told him to return with a new one. Not to mention they let us know that they will condition your boots and replace the laces for free every 90 days. Pretty neat! I'd highly recommend Red Wing if you're looking for high quality work or hiking boots. My fiancé's older ones have lasted for a long time and he's never had any complaints with them, nor did I with my old hiking boots before I grew out of them. You'll definitely find what you need.
