One of the pairs, my Footjoy Classics Spikeless, stopped being produced in 2009 so I wasn't sure how difficult of a project this might be for Mike. Turns out they look better than they did when they were new! More support, better constructed, and they look brand new. Mike took a pair of shoes that were literally falling apart and brought them back to life, even better than before. These Footjoys look better than anything Footjoy sells these days! Mike did such a great job that I dropped off another pair when I picked up my last 2 pair. And I have about 3 more pairs of shoes that are in need of being recrafted, Cento Shoes will be wear I am taking them. And before I could even start to look for boot shops the name Boot Box was thrown at me. Everyone telling me the same thing. They are the best boot shop by far. And they were not wrong. Gary help me find the perfect shoe. I asked him lots of questions because I knew that he was the boot expert. I've always worn shoes that were budget friendly and somewhat okay. I didn't know anything about boots and just got what I thought felt okay. Not this time. Gary made me feel extremely comfortable when picking out the shoe, and making sure that they fit in the guidelines of what Job( Blue Buffalo) required. I think I tried on like 4 pairs. Some that fit and some that didn't and some that fit well. He told all the spots to check for when looking for comfort. I did tell him what i liked and didn't like in a work boot and problems I've had with the boots that I've had. He made sure that he gave and showed me the best shoe to eliminate all the problem areas and highlight the areas that I wanted.when I tried on my boots, he gave me a pair of thick socks to try on with them so that i get the full affect of how the boot is going to feel. I ended up leaving with a pair of slide in Doc Martins and some red darn tough socks. That have a wicking technology in them to allow your feet to not sweat. All I can say from here on out if I need boots or someone I know needs some boots the Boot Box with where I'll go and send everyone. The pricing is great, so you'll find something in your budget, and the customer service is out the door. I wear size 15 and usually buy 2 or 3 pair of shoes if I find some I like because I know they may be hard to find next time. The staff has always been helpful and friendly and can usually guide me to the size 15 shoes quickly. For normal feet sized people they carry a nice large selection of all types of shoes from sneakers to work boots, kids, men's, and women's shoes too. Many times they have specials buy 1 pair and get 50% off second pair type deals.
