It's seems to be mainly the way the registers are set up and the type of cashiers they have. It's l clothing retailers except more registers so it's difficult to see when one opens. Only one employee, who was restocking articles, offered assistance when a customer approached and asked. I walked around three isles four times looking for Timberlands. Each time I circled, I looked to the two persons at the cash register where no customers were being helped. Both employees looked at me and went on talking loudly enough to hear the conversation was of a personal nature. As I approached them, they glanced at me and immediately returned to their conversation with one of them keeping a close eye on her smart phone. I excused myself and said to them, "...sorry for disturbing both of you while you are so very busy." AMAZING! They were not going to allow a pointed comment disturb their discussion. "Where are the Timberlands", I asked. The response was a pointed gesture and a quick, "Over there" ! Her pointed finger could have been directed at the floor or toward any obscure direction. Not once did she offer to show or help. You may be assured that she DID NOT loose visual contact with her cell phone. I started searching the rack for my size shoes. After checking several boxes while the two glanced my way a few times, I went and found my wife and told her, "We are leaving. We are not buying shoes from this store." The person helping my wife was obviously surprised but said nothing as we left. I have been shopping at the Fort O Rack Room Shoes since that store opened. With three children growing up, not to mention parents, relatives and friends, I have purchased many, many pairs of shoes from this store. My last thought on this Fort Oglethorpe Rack Room Shoes store - Chattanooga is not too far to drive !

The store has a pretty big collection of scrubs - I found that the specific light blue color that I needed was available but in a lot of brands my size was sold out. Never the less, there is a good selection of women's scrubs (I didn't look at men's so I can't comment on this). Also, white coats, compression socks are available as well. There are fitting rooms to try on the scrubs to make sure that they are the perfect fit. The employees where kind and helped me immediately when I had a question regarding a particular brand - and I was checked out immediately.

The store was located in a depressed neighborhood and closed down shopping center.
