We came to this outlet mall few hours past noon on a very hot day. Parking lot was all around with…read morelots of spots to handle the crowd. Common space was a mix of open and shaded area, mostly clean and well maintained. There were a good number of shops, but most of them were smaller in size and were carrying lesser number of products. While exploring the outlet, I walked into few stores but didn't find anything worth buying. The sales tax rate was also very high 12%. The food court was little sad. There were few different shops but most were abysmal. The dining hall was also underwhelming with old chair and tables. Overall I wasn't very impressed with the experience, and was one of the least exciting outlet mall I had visited.

Sherry the owner got upset when my boyfriend asked could we get cash back (but per posted policy its only exchange or store credit) and asked him y was he talking when he didn't buy anything, and he wasn't a customer because he didn't buy anything and she didn't want him in the store. I'm taken back because I can't understand y she's so upset. She continues to holler and by now my hands are shaking and I'm on the verge of tears because of her demeanor. She proceeds to call security Me, my boyfriend and 2 boys walk outside. We decide to call the police. They can't do anything because its a civil matter. This store misrepresented their product. And has low integrity. Also does not uphold their posted return policy and is unprofessional. The next morning when I wake up I'm still bothered by the experience. I feel it should be illegal for privately owned stores to not uphold their posted policies and feel they can treat people any way they want. Sadly I may be stuck with the frayed shirt, because In the mayhem I left my receipt on the counter. I paid cash. Some are cleaned and dusted off, and some are very overpriced. I guess they do the best they can to minimize the cost to the customers. I saw their boutique section, and to charge someone marked-up prices when it just came straight from the trash is laughable. The furniture is overpriced. They even sell old mattresses. Some of the couches should be cleaned and sanitized before it is sold to the public. If I can smell old tail on the fabric couch it's safe to say it should be sanitized.

The Norfolk Premium Outlets is the location and parking is plentiful. The store is closest to the entrance "Potomac Court", so don't go far if you want direct access to just Adidas. Staff was helpful on two recent visits in my quest for the perfect sweat pants. I honestly was less concerned about price and the acted a good fit with drawstrings. Zip up pockets was a bonus. They ended up not having my size, but staff found another in the back. Strong customer service. The store has men's, women's and kids. Really something for the whole family, they even carry shoes. Checkout was friendly too! I will be back for Christmas shopping for my kids.

I also browsed quickly and saw the cutest water bottles, accessories and clothing. But the SPF is what got me from jump. The associate behind the register was sweet and friendly and kind. A great experience from start to finish.
