Amazing customer service. We had bad reception on the phone when I first called for a quote, so she ended up texting me instead to see what I needed. I was able to set up carpet cleaning and grout cleaning for the next day. The technician actually showed up on time at 8am! (shocker) He did a great job. Carpet looks brand new. Grout is definitely cleaner (not brand new though but a drastic improvement!). Before leaving, he advised me to turn on the AC unit fan for the carpets and to not walk on them for some period of time and also to turn on the fan in the living room for the grout. Definitely recommend Shook to anyone and will use them next time when my tenants move out. read more

Per the requirement of the lease on my last rental, I needed the carpet cleaned in a townhouse at the end of December (the lease ended Dec 31). I was concerned that there would be limited (quality) options, being that it was approaching NYE and Jan 1. I found Shook on Yelp, contacted them, and they replied very promptly. They were fantastic to deal with (Jessica) and the technician that cleaned the carpet (Schuyler) was prompt, professional, friendly, and efficient. Only giving four stars because people read four star reviews more than five stars. These guys are great. Fit me into their schedule and knocked out two rooms in no time. They have a $99 minimum and actually offered to do more work instead of charging $99 for the one room I needed done. Quick and effective service. Got my stains out. Tip worthy. You won't be disappointed if you go with these guys. Zero complaints and no up-sell attempt like most of the big steam cleaners around town. I use Shook on a regular basis. I have 3 Dogs and a cat. They do an amazing job. My carpets look like new afterwards and no animal smell. I also have asthma and it really helps my breathing. Wonderful people to work with! Schuyler King was very friendly and professional. When requesting a quote on Yelp, they reached out right away with the best out of 10 quotes I had received. Great prices! And the job they did is 100% satisfactory! Schuyler went over our carpet with a black light before he started the cleaning which I thought was genius. He was able to make sure those areas got super clean. My husband and I just bought a house and wanted to get the carpets clean before we moved in, unfortunately our water couldn't get turned on bc of the holiday weekend but they made it very easy to reschedule. The owners prior had a cat and I swear every night we slept in the house before the cleaning, I had bad allergies. Now that the carpets are clean, I can breathe so easy! He even showed me the amount of cat hair that was in the filter! I was impressed by how clean the carpets were afterwards and it was a great experience overall. Good communication is essential in any relationship, and Taylor, "boss lady", really impresses me in this department. As soon as I booked my appointment, I received a text with all details including name & head shot of the technician assigned for the job. Taylor maintained good communication with me throughout , and she was very accommodative. Both text & e-mail were sent day before to remind us of our appointment. On day of the job, our technician texted me ahead of time to let us know he was on his way. He did a great job & was also a great communicator! Shook Carpet Cleaning was recommended on my neighborhood page so I figured I would give them a try. Great customer service and a professional technician, Chris. I got the carpet and tile grout cleaned for my entire house. Chris contacted me to let me know that his first job ran a little long and to apologize that he would be running a little late. To my surprise he was only late about 10 minutes as I assumed he would be much later (as my experience with other companies late means 30 minutes to a hour). Chris was able to answer all of my questions and exceeded my expectations. I was torn on getting two areas of my house cleaned, but being that they are never used, Chris did not try to convince me to get something cleaned that I did not need. Had my carpet cleaned by Shook because I moved out of the townhouse that I was renting. The gentleman called me the morning of and told me he was running ahead of schedule and asked if he wanted me to show up early. I said yes and he showed up ready to go. We walked through the house showing the areas to be cleaned, he parked the van in front of the house, hooked the hose up to the water spicket on the house, and got the job done in about an hour. The cleaning was for 3 bedrooms, a hallway, & stairs. They did a great job and for a reasonable price. The cleaner was very respectful of the house and a great person to meet. I was referred to Shook by my Katy/ Fulsher friends on Facebook and I was amazed with the job. They did a great job! Chris was great, friendly and thorough. He came in with a black light found all of our pet stains, treated them and cleaned everything. They are very honest, I booked for two additional rugs and after looking over my rugs Chris said he didn't see any stains on one of them.
