As a former Nordstrom buyer, great customer service is just ingrained in you. Seems the sales lady took one look at my attire (shop/store uniform) and apparently wrote me off, it was clear as day. When I stopped to ask her if she could suggest something for my younger daughter, where I might find something stylish for a 15/16yo. She suggested 'maybe Old Navy or Target'. Hmmmm....ya know that scene in Pretty Woman - BIG MISTAKE, HUGE!!! Never judge a book by its cover. Coming straight from my store I realize I may not have looked the part to her, but to have an employee make ANY customer/potential client 'feel' they might be in the wrong place, it's not how I would want any of my employees to act. My bank account and I got back into my RR and drove to River Walk. Free People store there was more than happy to help me purchase a few tops, pants and accessories.

I could have returned it but nothing was available for my size. I was good until I went to eat out and as I ran my finger on the left side of the dress I realized there is a LONG RIPPED, TORN section, I called to possibly get a better deal or return and I was told it was a final sale after the 10% discount. I was ok with one side of it ripped but now both sides ripped I feel like a raggedy Ann. I wish I could have checked before I purchased and I wished they don't sell ripped clothing :( Lesson learned for me. Just sad this business is not customer friendly and that it's ok to sell torn items.
