Well that's serious money in my book (unfortunately.) I came into the store between 9-10a.m. on a Thursday. It wasn't too busy, to my relief. On the other hand, I wanted to be sure to get the right stuff, and wanted to check with the Pharmacy that it wasn't physically behind the counter before hunting the aisles. I took my place in line, and began to wait .. and wait. I have no problem letting her serve the current customer first, go ahead take the time necessary to do your job. After the customer walks away, however, she continues to really take her time. I stand, and wait...keep waiting...there are people adding up behind me. Finally I get so annoyed I need to start making conversation with the customer behind me. As we begin filling our own time void, the staff immediately decides to continue with someone else not in line. THEN I get to hear that it is indeed not kept behind the counter, but on the shelf. Once I hit the aisle, I do get a staff who is available and takes the time to answer my questions about the various formulations offered on the shelf. She had good knowledge of the different ingredients and their applications. I was finally able to purchase what I needed. I should have made more effort to remember her name as I would go look for her next I came back. Good service with an appropriate knowledge level.

Went in the next morning to clarify the price and for sale sign was still there for item. Spoke with the rude manager and let him know of the issue and asked me why I did not check bill at the time of purchase. I asked why your location is putting up sales signs ahead of the sale. He rudely pointed me to their cashier sign that requested patience. Sorry, this is not good customer service in my opinion.

The hand cream that she was using wasn't healing a thing. I found one brand that seemed promising while doing some research online. The site said that it was available at this particular Shoppers Drug Mart. The store was conveniently on my way home from work. Then again, I cut across most of the GTA, so I pass by a ton of stores! This store is in a plaza. There seemed to be a Food Basics or some green-painted grocery store that has closed down. Shoppers Drug Mart is in the corner further down. The parking area can be a bit chaotic. It's an older plaza and the lanes are more narrow than what I'm used to in suburbia. This store has been here for a while. It has everything that you'd expect it to have, including a grocery aisle. I walked every aisle and could not find the hand cream that I was looking for, which was disappointing. However, there was a Gold Bond one that was on sale. It has been approved by the Canadian Diabetes Society. It has proven results. It was also on sale. I bought it! I dropped the cream off at my parents' place. My mom said that she would try the hand cream out immediately. This morning, I spoke to my mom. She said that three hours later, she noticed a huge difference. She no longer has cracked hands. Nice! She asked me whether she could pay me back. Hearing her say that this product works is all that I wanted. The lone cashier at this store was friendly and made sure that each customer was okay. She helped out a senior ahead of me. I liked the care that she showed and the help that she gave. I'd come back here again when I'm in the area. (157)

Doesn't matter what it is, it is like a right of passage that on any shopping quest, I MUST first step through it's sacred sliding doors into the soft scents that can only be the cosmetics section (rereading that I think I may need some help......) In all honesty, I do think this is a great retail environment and not only because I seem to always need what shoppers has to offer. They really have it right on the retail environment. The layout is great, the visibility is amazing (it's always the brightest store) and the staff is friendly enough. It has everything and the mix of retail and pharmacy is great...what else are you going to do while waiting for the pharmacist to mix all the magical potions and call on the gods to create that coffee syrup (ok I'm not crazy but sometimes I do wonder why you have to wait for your prescription when the doctor wrote down the exact amount and the type...is it the handwriting they are figuring out...it's got to be so we have to shop around right???)? In any event, I am possessive about this shoppers and glad that I got to review it first. If you're ever in the area, stop by, because I swear this specific shoppers has...everything......

It's a great one stop shop especially when you are particular about beauty products. This location is quite large and right at entrance has an extended perfume section. It's part of the new renovation project for introducing the Sephora products. The extension of the cosmetics is really well lit and organized. The food & cleaning product section is larger than the regular Shoppers and they have tons of well known brands in the clearance shelves. Also, I was really impressed that almost all the well known products were fully in stock and that on a weekend. I…read morepurchased a thermometer that was not working, I brought it back the same day to return it and purchase a better one. The assistant manager on duty, Bob, claimed the barcode was illegible. I asked him if there was a manual way to enter it in as the price/date and product info were all visible, he said no and got rude with me. It was their product that failed and I would not accept that there was nothing to be done. Then he asked me to leave the store, I asked him why and he screamed for security. Here I was a paying customer exchanging a malfunctioning product and actually paying more for a replacement and he treats me like a thief. He threatens to call the police and continues to yell at me in front of other staff and customers to get out of his store at te top of his lungs. My grandfather was sick and I still had to buy a new thermometer. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. Please go to the metro across the street also 24 hours in trinity plaza and carries all the same products and more. They have lost a customer.
