The consultation states an hour but your actual visit will be a 5 minute consultation then a 5 hour wait for the vaccines/pills needed for your travel. I had my prescriptions transferred here. The software to manage your prescriptions does not work. I requested a refill for the day my prescription was to expire and they were not done. I was informed that I had to do it that exact day. When I went in to pick them up the lady had the expression of a cult follower. Just a flat emotionless expression. She looked like a white girl that had become a particular religion. When she cashed me out I thought that the price was so much more than I had paid in the past. I asked if my insurance had been used. She said that my insurance information had not been entered. You have to check everything. Another software issue. They always seem to be having computer issues at SDM. I am available for employment with 22 years in the IT system development and support. I see that there is a pharmacy in Long Sault. Fantastic experience! I went there recently to drop off and pick up a prescription. The entire staff was super friendly and helpful. They had my order ready in about 20 min which is faster than anywhere else in town. This may sound strange but I was impressed by the fact that everyone made eye contact with me, they had a smile on their faces and they acknowledged me as a person. You just don't see that anymore these days. The pharmacist was very informative and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain everything I needed to know about the drugs in great detail and answered all my questions. She even gladly put my other items through on her cash.
