I went to this location on Tuesday to get a lock for a locker at a gym. The only lock they had was the combination lock so I bought it. I opened up the package and started following the instructions on how to set up your own combination but it didn't work so I waoted for my friend to do it. She did it, it worked and we tested the new combination. After I put my things in the locker to lock it, it wouldnt lock.. i tried and tried and it didn't work so i put my thinhs in my friend's locker
The next day, I called head office Shoppers to let them know that this lock doesnt work and I'd lile to return it however I threw away the receipt and it's open. He said "no problem, let me look it up from your optimum card"..he found my receipt and said the store will contact me.
The next day, a man called me frim the store saying i can return the lock and to bring my optimum card with me. He said "when can you come in?" I said tomorrow in the evening. That evening comes around and i decide to call the store before heading there to ensure that theres someone to process this. The supervisor picked up and transferred me to the "assistant manager".. she said that I can't return it but I can only get store credit. Why on earth would I want store credit when the only lock you have is the one I bought? I said no, the gentleman who called me said that I can do a return. She replied in a rude tone saying "sorry, there's nothing we can do". I then said "ok im going to hangup now and call head office. Whats your name?". She said "Vicky". I called head office who called the store to assure me that this is possible in store. I went in an hour later, asked for the assistant manager.. but the supervisor comes. She says i cant return it because its open.. "how many times do i have to tell you guys the story? Wheres your assistant manager?". I see the supervisor go off to a corner to speak to someone and then come back to me. She did this the entire time as the "middle" person. So when she came back, i asked her "is she the assistant manager?" And she replied "yes". I asked if her name was "Vicky" and she said "no, theres no one named Vicky". Im mad at this point becUse you guys keep going back and forth and im now 100% sure that the lady hiding was the one i spoke tk on the phone named "vicky" and doesnt want to face me because i called head office on her. An apology is needed at this point. Their customer service skills are lacking extremely hard and I truly honestly feel so bad for her. This store has absolutely no skills, knowledge or anything.
Never ever go to this store. There are so many Shoppers everywhere. Avoid. read more
