This pier front property has been transformed into an idyllic spot with beautiful live plant sanctuary and a beautiful playground. It is kept in pristine condition. Before Mayor zpaul Pontieri and Patchogue village- it was run down..now it is a delight to visit!!!! read more

We look forward to the Great South Bay Fest every summer and this year did not disappoint. The park itself is large enough for a couple of stages and ample port-a-potties that were actually clean. The layout is nice since you walk in to the plethora of food options then drink stations rounded out by some clothing/merchandise vendors. Parking is always a pain for the event but we seem to get lucky since the park is close to local side streets. read more

Hi Friends, Everyone loves Patchogue's waterside Shorefront Park. This park has evolved so much..over the years. Having lived in Patchogue for a while, I've seen this little spot on earth..grow from a small Windswept baseball field, to this Beautiful venue of Peace & Love. Shorefront Park proud to be the location for Patchogue's annual Great South Bay Music Festival. Soo.. all of you who could not be here today, sit back ..Relax and Enjoy the tunes and cool vibes and videos of Electric Hot Tuna and many other cool bands in the Summer of 2018. Enjoy my Yelp friends as Shorefront Park takes you back to The Summer of Love and Woodstock again. It's so great that Folks travel from the world over to see this magical music scene. This music festival will feature a lineup of over 60 bands. There is a children's concert in the morning and a pirate show and Buccaneers parade to help kick off the festivities. The food court this year was wonderful.. there was almost anything that you might want to sample, every wonderful Carnival Food you could think of over 30 food vendors. Popeyes with their famous shrimp rolls. Pizza, HOT spicy Italian sausages so many other different food stalls this year.. and of course Wild Bill's Root beer. The four day music lineup was so cool. The last day was Sunday, this was the day that I attended this festival. I bought my tickets online it was easy enough. Grabbed my best friends, and we were there. There were really great Bob Dylan and Grateful Dead tribute bands. Then came Little Feat with all the classic favorites to the Mellow appreciative audience.. as the golden sun sank low on the waters edge in the background's view . Electric Hot Tuna took the stage to a loud cheer from the powered up crowd. H.F.T. played all their favorites, including Jelly roll Blues, Hesitation Blues.. it was a wonderful time..don't you just love Hot Tuna together again. The Twilight of evening brought brought the headliner and crowd favorite Dickey Betts with all the Allman Brothers favorites The mood was wonderful, relaxing, cool colorful and electrically exciting. Everyone buzzed with excitement. The folks here were all in a wonderful mood ..dancing, singing with friends and family. I took a ton of videos and wild n crazy pics to capture the vibes. Being a Nassau person, I really don't get her much [at all to be honest.] This year, my wife and I went to the music festival and really enjoyed this nice park. That had the main stage set up in the outfield of the baseball field and other bands playing on a prefab stage as well as their permanent band shell. The park was extremely clean, well kept and being right the water a really nice play for a stroll. There was a new modern playground very well maintained lawns. I would certainly visit this park again if there are any other events held here. The Patchogue Chamber of Commerce set up a stand and was showing and boasting of all the great things happening in the town. KUDOS to all who worked so hard for this event. read more

There is nothing better than being by the water! There's a nice cool breeze all the time. The park is well kept and there's even a free parking area which is a plus! Usually an ice cream truck comes around. My kids always have a good time while here. read more

Great area for families to visit. There is a beautiful playground. The park overlooks the water. There is a bandshell where concerts take place in the summer. It is also gone of the Great South Bay music Festival. There is a parking by permit lot. Yesterday is was the starting point for the Santa Toy Trot 5k. read more

Tiny little shorefront park, never used to be much but a baseball field and some rickety bridge over some sewage-looking drain-off but over the years the powers that be have made some improvements (sort of). With more and more popular events happening and patchogue in its resurgence, it's a little nicer. A new playground for kids, even a guard down there some nights... The bandshell still stands and the bay crashes the bulkhead... It's not so bad after all. Host to great South Bay music festival, the homes across the street have some new entertainment in the summer, and a preserved view year round. Nearby mascot dock has certainly seen better days but construction there may bleed into the park (hopefully). The view of the bay is nice, that's for sure. I hear it comes complete with (4) pokestops kids. Have fun. read more

Be careful not to twist your ankle walking over the ruts left behind by the music fest. Nice play ground for the kids, but don't bother to bring the kids to play at this public park during the music festival as you'll need a ticket to get near them. read more

The park looked clean and I could see evidence that people fish there- not sure if the fishing is good. It is a great location to watch the sun set over the water, though! I like seeing a place where the community can come together to be active. It really livens up a neighborhood to hear kids playing in the distance and having a blast. read more
