I opted to have an aging gas boiler furnace and hot water heater replaced with a Combi Boiler System. The Shore Guys quote that I received was very competitive and fair. The equipment quoted appeared to be superior to what others had quoted. Shore Guys office staff have always been courteous and helpful. Finally, the installation technicians were first rate. The installation process was completed over a two-day period. The team of Thomas and Mark (and the twins) are first class, knowledgeable and hard working. When the job was completed, they included me while testing all newly installed equipment and features. Everything was explained to me clearly. I would like to give a shout out to Jose from Shore Guys. I was having a problem with my heater. I called around 12:30 and Jose was there by 2:15. At first he couldn't identify my problem. He didn't give up and he listened to what I said about what was going on. He ran the heater through several cycles until he found what the problem was. He could have left after ten minutes and say he couldn't find the problem, but he didn't. Once he found the issue he showed me and then fixed the problem. He was very polite and worked clean. I have used Shore Guys for 14yrs and they never let me down. They have great staff that are friendly and helpful. I called to have my yearly AC tuneup and they had a cancellation that day and Tarik was my Technician. He showed up early which is always a plus. He not only serviced my unit but recommended having an attachment that cleans my system constantly cleaning mold and other various allergens that live in your system and air. We had a failure of our AC unit on July 2nd. It was going to be the next 3 hottest days of the year (over 100F). I reached out to the Shore Guys as my last hope. They came through big time. They inspected the old unit, determined it was not repairable, put together an estimate for a new system and installed it all in only two days and just before the July 4th weekend. Update: Fair is fair... There was a misunderstanding and Shore Guys corrected it quickly and completely. Stand-up business. Came out to do a service that ended up not being needed. Nice guy was here for 5 minutes, but apparently he was required to still charge me $ 119. I understand paying a charge because they took the time to come out and time is money, but this fee in exorbitant. Lesson learned. read more
