Captain Andy and First Mate Rob were AMAZING! They were so helpful and kind, literally running back and forth to help everyone. It's always been that way. We limited out and had such a great time. It was awesome and we all limited out (6 walleye each). Captain Tom was really helpful and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. A few things to know; Take a cooler with some snacks and drinks. You may want a clip on flashlight for the bathroom (it's dark in there). If you're concerned about seasickness, you may want to pick up some Seabands (pressure point wristbands - you can buy these at Walmart in the pharmacy area). The crew will put your fish on a stringer. When you get back, you can take the fish to Drawbridge Marina (just around the corner) to be cleaned for a fee.

I get it, I should've called, we got busy, we could not show up for the reservation I had scheduled. The response I got? A voicemail from an employee there, I won't name names (because what will that do?), that literally said "there's no way you wouldn't no show us because there's no way you would be that rude". Which was referring to the fact that we didn't show up without a phone call. Needless to say, they made me feel completely embarrassed, ashamed, and didn't even give me a chance to explain when I called back to apologize. Just further condescending tones. I'm in customer service, and I cannot believe the way you made me feel as a customer. You were bold enough to leave a voicemail like that. I'm sorry life got in the way. The fact that YOU turned away business and held a boat full of people because they were already there waiting for two complete strangers who made a FREE reservation, is beyond me (yes, the employee told me he did all this because 2 out of FOURTY people didn't show up). Thank you for the kindness of waiting, had we of just been a bit late. However, I'm not going to apologize for the treatment I received in response to a mistake I made and will take responsibility for/ In the end, don't not show up for your reservation, because heaven forbid life happens and you get left an ugly little message in your mailbox.

The weather the previous couple of days had been wild and windy and no boats were out but thankfully on the day we were scheduled the weather had turned and we were able to get out. Spent a great day on the lake fishing under the direction of "Captain Rob"not much catching but enough to keep every one interested---- will definitely use Reef Robbers again.

They were so focused on filling our limit, that they actually got in the way of our group. We were there to catch a few fish and make some memories. She wouldn't even let me take pics of a big fish that my buddy caught. "We don't take pictures when we are catching fish", she said. She said I couId take pictures when we get back to the marina. She was rude the whole trip. I have probably fished with 50 different guides for many different types of fish. Probably 10 different walleye guides on Lake Erie. This was the worst fishing trip I have ever had, guided or not. I spent ALOT OF MONEY on this trip: hotel rooms, gas, supplies, and guide. I cannot express how disappointed I am. I didn't even keep any of the fish. I don't want any reminders of this trip.

Our tickets were for 11:00am departure and we pulled away from the dock at 11:01am. Arrival was as promised at 11:25. Great friendly crew. That said, the prices are a bit expensive but it's a fast ride. We did not pre book our return trip as we were unsure of when we would want to come back. There is a significant savings if you do this. We foolishly opted to do 2 separate tickets for flexibility, later learning that we could exchange a pre purchased return ticket for a later boat provided there was room. We should have done that- so know that going in if you are unsure of your return time. It'll save about $10-12 per adult ticket. I believe a normal adult is around $33 and this brings the return down to around $22-23 each. Other than that, it's a boat. Safe operation, no frills, bathrooms are that of a necessity but not unclean if needed. Enjoy the ride!
