I am concerned that my doctor cannot see patterns of trend or change in my overall health and thinks this is ethical and acceptable behavior. So my review is for the Pt Pleasant location. I was seen immediately, and everyone was kind, caring, and informative. Anytime a test was taken, they gave me the estimated turnaround time and kept me up to date. This facility also has a CT scan which meant I did not have to go to the main hospital location in Brick. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and caring attention that I received and that I overheard other patients receiving. A great alternative to the main hospital ER.

The unrushed atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff superb. Dr. Carson is highly knowledgeable and up-to-date on the latest meds, conditions, procedures, diagnostics, etc., and readily shares how he determines appropriate treatment. Since Consensus Health has taken over this practice, it's become one of the worst and most frustrating places to deal with. Getting an appointment on the website does not work. If you call for an appointment, it's an AI generated system and after five minutes asking questions they gave me an appointment that is two days from now, then it told me there seems to be a problem and the AI system sent me to a voicemail. Someone did call back and I explained what happened and they told me that there is no appointment for that day available. I told them the website shows no appointments through July and I was told that's because we have no appointments... I said I guess I'm going to need to find another doctor and she said OK and hung up on me. The original doctors in the office may be good, but everything else about this place is absolutely frustrating and horrible!!! After getting out of the hospital, I would love to see the doctor that I've been with for over 30 years, but I can't get an appointment, it's extremely sad and frustrating. Sadly, no one in the office except the doctors seems to really care.
