This place has it all--oil for your car, winning lottery tickets, propane, a Red Box, something for whatever ails you. Most important they have a clean ladies restroom. I'm not making any assumptions about the men's room--didn't pay it a visit. Customers wore masks and kept their distance. Cashier was not masked while she drank and then only half masked the ready of the time. It cost you a star to have your nose hanging out. She was working today 1/15/2019 around 4:20 pm when I arrived. I came in, smiled and said how are you and she acted like she didn't want to say anything to me. She just said I'm fine with this mean look. I bought my lottery ticket and when I held my hand out to get it, she threw it down on the counter very aggressively and then looked at me and held her hand out to collect the money for it. I was about to do the same to her but I held my composure and just put the money in her hand. I left but went back in there just to watch her for a few minutes just to see how she interacted with other customers. She never smiled but she did speak to some customers without a smile at all so it had me thinking WTH is wrong with my look. I took two stars away, one for each of those employees. There is one employee there who is very nice. She is another older lady. She always speaks and smiles at the customers and one time she was there at the same time this male employee was there and he accidentally rung up two of the same lottery tickets for me and looked at me with a mean look expecting me to pay for them both. Then this nice employee jumped in before I said anything and offered to buy the other ticket herself. I wish that ticket had won. I know sometimes people have bad days but that is no reason to make someone else feel bad, especially a customer. I am so tired of going into these businesses here in Wilson and having to deal with these mean ass people. I decided I am going to give a review for every business I go to here. And when I stop at this business again, if the very nice employee is not there, they will not get my money that day or I might just stop coming all together because I feel like I am paying these mean ass people to stay there and that makes me part of the problem. Not even 4 miles after I filled up there my car sputtered and died right on hwy 58 right past the church on the right side after silver lake resturant. I had to get richies automotive towing to come get my car. I tried calling nash street shell's phone number numerous times and they would not answer their phone. I have filed a police report on them. My car is a 2018 model with only 20,500 miles. On Sunday June 20th, 2021 fathers day, I had the fuel line and tank purged of this Nasty stuff! It was coming out a milky white color instead of a amber/clear color. I had to flush out 4 gallons of this crap with fresh 93 octane gas before the car started to run again. It also smelled stale and was not a strong smell of fresh gas. The 2 small pictures are of the milky gas as it drained into a gas can and also how it looked like at the fuel rail test port. The first larger pic is of the hose where fresh gas finally cleared up and the car fired right up! Avoid them at all cost as this owner is not maintaining their facility as they should. I have filed a claim with shell corporation and hope something positive comes out of this incident. If not then this station should be shut down!

Manager is rude, think maybe upset it was caught. Check your transactions, they would just pocket your money UPDATE. Was able to contact my bank and get charges reversed.

I also have a Murphy gas card where I get 3 cents off each gallon I pump. The price of gas is reasonable and with the extra 3 cents off is a good deal. I have never had any issues at this particular gas station.
