This place had many kids with lots of instructors but there was no structure as to what was being taught, no accountability and lots of confusion. We also tried another dojo within my community and that still didn't work out for my son. Each morning after dropping my son at school, I would pass this karate studio not knowing that this was the same guy I heard about almost 2 years prior. We met one morning, I shared with him my goals for my son, did the trial and now my son is one of his students. Jeff serious and focus when it comes to teaching this art form of Karate that he passionate about. If you are looking for a place for your child to play then this is not it. Jeff is skilled in Shotokan and as such, your child will be taught in an organized and structured environment. They will be held accountable to learn their kata while being encouraged to focus and do their best not only in karate but in school. He encourages reading, he motivates and affirms his students. They don't just rank up, they put the work in. This teaches them the importance of hardwork and dedication. Seeing them move in unison is amazing!!! I have seen such a difference in my son as he works towards getting his next belt. As a Christian man, Jeff is well respected not only by his students and parents, but within his community. It was hard but I wanted to learn these everyday scenarios that you may come across in this day and age. It's been 6 months although I still get nervous like I did for exams in school but I'm glad I stuck to this. Avi and all the other instructors have their own methods of teaching, however I find each style fascinating as everyone is different. It's a community for sure, everyone supports everyone. The dojo teaches a style of jujutsu that dates back to 1650, an Okinawan style of Karate where the dojo has very close ties to very senior international organizations and recently we have added a traditional style of Okinawan weapons. Everything being taught is very realistic and practical. The training is rigorous but the dojo has a strong sense of community and helping others grow. Under Sensei Williams' leadership, the Seibukan Dojo has become one of the strongest dojos with an incredible reputation. Despite all of that, when our class was supposed to take place today, our entire group was left standing outside in the cold because the owner simply **forgot** our scheduled class. This was, without question, the most disappointing and unprofessional experience our homeschool group has ever had. Our outings are usually smooth, positive, and well-coordinated, so for something this important to be handled with such carelessness is extremely upsetting. There was absolutely no accountability, no apology that matched the situation, and not even an offer to make up the class they failed to provide. I am deeply disappointed in the lack of responsibility, communication, and basic courtesy shown to our group. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. Their behavior falls far below what one should expect from any business--let alone a martial arts school that claims to teach discipline and respect.

The instructors here are very friendly, down to earth people that we have ever met. They are absolutely amazing with the kids and they made us feel right at home. The instructors also make it fun to learn while still instilling values of respect & discipline. 3) This place is clean, spacious & very well padded.
