I was stuck with them because the HOA where I used to live is contracted through them, but if you have a choice don't use them. I literally can't even tell when the grass has been cut and almost every single one of my former neighbors were in agreement with me about the lack of quality in their "services". In fact one of my former neighbors busted out his lawnmower and mowed his own lawn because they do that bad of a job. They clearly need to lower the blades on their mowers and/or at least sharpen or replace them entirely because it seriously doesn't even look like someone attempted to mow. The only way I ever knew if they'd even been here was if I heard them outside. There's never any fresh cut lines in the grass either, just straight up tire tracks. They also take their sweet time to finish the simplest of tasks, they take breaks that last anywhere from 30mins to 2 HOURS, and they clearly don't take any pride in their work whatsoever. You're better off mowing your own lawn at this rate.

I had Grieders put in a new patio for me... I told the developer what I wanted... After it is finished it looked big while it was empty, I could not fit even a 4 person patio table and a fire pit on this thing without being way over crowded. He tells me "you agreed to this"... I guess I was naive to trust a "professional" with this task, if he told me it was enough room I believed him, after all he does this for living and I don't... I later asked him to come give me some quotes to enlarge it, he came out and measured and NEVER got back to me.... I have tried contacting and leaving messages for him numerous times, not even a return phone call. Now only two years later some of the stones are sinking in, leading me to believe the ground below was not packed correctly. I have called and left messages and they never return my call. I so being new to the area and wanting to have our house painted, I called several folks to come…read moreout and give us an estimate. I have to say, without a doubt, DJ's Painting & Remodeling Services was absolutely the most professional and the most comprehensive estimate that we received. We still need to make a decision about going forward with having the house painted, but I can tell you this, whether we have it painted or not or when we have it painted, we will absolutely be going only with DJ's Painting & Remodeling Services. The owner came out looked at the house, took his time, asked many questions (this house was built in 1870 and an addition was put on about 35 years ago so there was a lot to consider) spent time photographing, and was very interested in helping us with this unique house. The next day I got a call from his office to set up a date for us to come back in and go over the estimate; the best I've gotten from any of the others was an email to estimate or a phone call saying they were interested. We attended the estimate meeting, and were greeted by the staff who were all wonderful and nice, the office is very professional, and we met with the owner himself to go over the estimate. There was one for each my wife and I, along with an assistant to help us look at photographs and pictures as well as even a few color options when going through the estimate. The estimate came in right about where I thought it was going to be, and a little higher than my wife thought it was going to be, but I feel absolutely certain, just based on the experience so far, that they would do an amazing job painting our historic home! We received a follow up call about a week later, and I let them know that we were still looking at timing. So far I have been so impressed with their professionalism, how well their office runs and is managed, The jobs that they were able to show us they had already completed in the area on similar homes, and their commitment to the Bloomington and normal area and it's history, including their office building. I can't wait to have them paint our home in the spring and be able to update this with pictures and more great review information!
