They have created the most beautiful space full of an incredible selection of wines, craft spirits, and really any type of alcohol you might need. You will find wines from California to New Zealand and anywhere in between. As soon as you step into the shop you are greeted by an artful display of wine featuring some theme or place they have decided to highlight. The ambiance in this place cannot be matched and I always feel welcomed when I visit. Tony remembers my group of friends as the AMC students who jumped around in the rain last year, this greeting cannot be beat! Be sure to follow their Instagram to be in the know of their events and updates. Some Friday evenings they organize wine tastings and collaborate with local food vendors that set up booths outside of the shop. We've had dumplings, empanadas, and desserts during our different visits. This place is always such a vibe and we always leave, looking forward to our next visit. The shop is beautiful! The owner, Mary, was very pleasant and answered all our questions about her wines and other spirits. We ended up buying four bottles of wine and two bottles of unique spirits. It's mid-May (four months later) and we recently finished drinking and sipping everything until empty. I WISH we lived closer! He's also helped special order me a rare whiskey for a great price; and with no pressure. I'd mentioned it in conversation, and he found it and had it in stock two weeks later. Amazing. It's not a bargain basement shop by any means, but it's jess pretentious than the shops right in Rhinebeck, and a lot more friendly than Sipperly's in Red Hook. I do wish he had a better selection of interesting 3L boxes, but that's about it.
