Usually I do not take my time to review business because everyone has a different experience with certain people but Showcase Reality was without a doubt one of the best places I could have turned to during the stressful act of moving. This is why I will take my time to adequately review their process. First off, I am new to the world of renting an apartment. After visiting multiple places and feeling discouraged I finally found the place I liked. I was extremely stressed because I was not sure about the process, especially because I had a deadline for moving. Showcase Reality, especially Javier G. alleviated most of the anxiety by handling the bulk of my load. When we reached the step of visiting the landlord we received the news that another tenant was being considered. Showcase Reality advocated for us so much. My roommates and I did not have the best numbers to offer ( such as credit score and income) but when Javier realized that we were in competition, he stepped up. In the end we were able to get the place and it was all thanks to him. He highlighted the positive aspects that we could bring to the table. Although saving money by not using a broker is appealing, I would not dismiss the idea totally. Showcase Reality is trained in this process and has good relationships with most landlords, which is always beneficial. It was great working with Javier Grullon. After many viewings and dealing with a great deal of brokers, I chose Javier because he works hard and is honest. He was very responsive, and helped my girl and I throughout the entire process. I enjoyed having conversations with him. It wasn't him constantly trying to make a pitch to sell an apartment. He gave us facts and answered many of our questions in great detail. Javier also went out of his way on multiple occasions to cater to our schedules rather than his, which is rare for a broker to do. To put this in better perspective for you - I met with Javier for the first time 4 days prior to getting my apartment. He showed me the apartment after another broker came out with a group of people, who looked quite happy with the apartment. I looked at it, I liked it, I wanted it and I told Javier I didn't want to lose it. He had the application approved the following day on a Sunday when the apartment's management usually doesn't work and he had the lease ready the next day on Monday. My partner and I had been looking for our first apartment together for about 9 months. It was the first time we were moving into our own space from our perspective parents' homes, so the process was very anxiety producing. I ended up contacting Edward Briones from Showcase Realty, and am SOO HAPPY that I did!! Edward was amazing - super patient, understanding, and efficient in his work. Although we had to reschedule, he stayed on top of things; Unlike other agents who would respond to my inquiry and asks me questions, only to ignore me after my response, Javier responds very quickly.
