As a person visiting the area, I didn't have a regular climbing crew - I came solo and the autobelays were more than enough to satisfy my climbing need. The autobelays covered a solid range of levels and there were more than enough to cover my climbing needs. The other routes also looked interesting - and it's clear that the route setters have done a very good, thoughtful job in their setting. This was not a good roller skating experience, and I've been to a lot of different rinks. 8? 10?…read more This was the lawless rink. I've never been to a rink where they didn't have one or more staff members skating on the rink to ensure safety and enforce rules. They didn't have any staff members anywhere near the rink. And they needed them! I hope they have good insurance! (though they had us sign a waiver before entering, which is the only time I've experienced that at a rink.) It wasn't crowded on the Sunday afternoon that we went, but it was really hard to skate. One kid going the wrong way around the rink, kids and *adults* cutting across the rink instead of going in an oval. One young teen stealing the skate assist device from his younger siblings and then zig-zagging across the rink while they tried to chase him to get it back. One guy doing his dance moves across the path of traffic - dude, go in the middle or a corner! One man standing in the path of traffic doing things on his phone. And then the usual of kids cutting across. The rink also doesn't have a wall around it, which means at any moment someone might decide to cut across as they enter or exit the rink. I'm a good skater, but multiple times I had to skate off of the rink to avoid crashing into someone behaving badly. It made it so not fun. And when people fell down, there was no staff to check they were ok or help them up like at other rinks. I would have given it one star, because I really just didn't want to stay (and I often stay for multiple hours at rinks), but there were some good things. The floor was good, and the price wasn't bad. There were plenty of places to sit. Music was decent though loud. There was a separate little rink for beginner skaters. We were there for the second half of an afternoon session and there were no games or couples skate or anything, and I didn't see any way to request your favorite song. I had to try 3 times to get a decent rental skate (first time they gave me the wrong size, second time one skate had a wheel loose), and the laces were messed up still. There are rinks that are more fun.

The space is super unique, and the massive cylindrical support structures made for super interesting engagements. That being said, I think there are a few things that could make it a better experience in the future. The biggest thing would be more slow down respawns, and introduce new game modes. The constant onslaught of unlimited life TDM might work really well for paintball, but airsoft benefits from limited life game modes with revives and/or objective based modes to slow down the gameplay a little bit, especially on a field that small. There was at least one game where my entire team were just sitting in our spawn because we'd all ran out of ammo - hpa, aeg, and gbbr players alike. One new game mode that could be fun and work for the space is a 1 life tdm, played to best of 3 or best of 6, flipping sides every round or 2. It could reset until everyone needs to come off the field and reload. It'd be nice to have a clear sense of who won, and who lost, as I honestly couldn't tell you who won or lost any of the games yesterday. It also didn't seem like the refs were super attentive to the game. There was at least one player who consistently was shining a laser in people's eyes, and kept doing so even after they were told to stop by referees. As I looked through my footage last evening, there were several moments where I noticed the refs were grouped together, instead of spread across the field. Lastly, it's worth mentioning that it was extremely frustrating to have my group be split up for most of the day. We drove three hours each way to come play together, but we ended up only getting to play on the same team 2 or 3 rounds the whole day because the referees wouldn't let us play together, and they never really explained why. This was the main thing we complained about on our way home, and is the main reason we wouldn't want to come back in the future. We are looking forward to airsoft getting to play on the outdoor fields as the weather warms up, and we will be back to try those out. the Fort specifically looks like it would have super interesting gameplay

Then my schedule started getting busy and I couldnt' go. I informed them of this. So that fall I reached out and got zero response. So I did a follow up email and phone and text. Still no response. So I left it alone Then two weeks later I get a text from the trainer. And informed me they only had tuesdays and thursday. night availble. In formed her I cannot do that and be there on time due to my job. So I reached out again and asked for a refund on these lessions due to scheduling conflicts. They told me via text they would refund me Its been a mnth and still no refund. I tried to call, messaged them on facebook messenger, so far no response. i will say this place it great for younger children, but not adults if they want to learn or get back to riding. My main complaint is they have terrible communication. I never knew who to contact about anything. But the stable was good and trainers good, just terrible communication.

We had a birthday party here recently, and give it 2/5 overall. First, the good things. The kids…read morehad a great time riding the horses, and there were activities provided (brushing the horses, learning about the equipment, feeding them peppermints, and finally rides). It is not 2 hours of riding though. Each child is given 2 tickets for one ride around the stable. The birthday child gets an extra ride around. I didn't have to clean up, which was nice. When I spoke with the owner on the phone, she was very nice. On to the not-so-great stuff. There was no working restroom. Apparently they had a pipe break and it was expensive to fix. She offered to let us use the restroom but warned that it was gross. Most of the kids chose to go outside. I wish I had been warned, as we would have let the parents know or rescheduled for a time with a working restroom. Second, there is no separate room for birthday events. The party is in the stable, and there are flies EVERYWHERE. There was a cooler with something to drink, and cups beside it and they were literally blanketed with flies. When I spoke with the owner I chose the cake flavor, yet when the day came the person running the event did not offer to bring out the cake until I requested it. I had also brought cupcakes and she "figured that was enough." The owner was not present at our event. The girl hosting the event acted like she didn't want us to eat the cake. It was just weird. There were cakes stacked in the office (not refridgerated) and she said when people bring their own cake they re-use the cakes for the next party. Hello?! I paid for the event, why can't I take the cake home? Finally, there were 2 young girls assisting with the events and I don't feel like they had the training to guide children around horses. Most of the parents later spoke up that they were very uneasy and worried about their children being so close to the horses. I would not recommend this venue for a birthday party. For the price paid, I would have expected more.

I plan to have my daughter's 4th Birthday party here. Initially I was trying to find a better, cleaner rink with better bathrooms but sadly that doesn't exist at a reasonable price point. So let's start with the good. The skating staff are exceptional. Even many of the super frequent patrons take it upon themselves to watch out for little kids and check on them every time they fall. Staff checked in several times and several young kids between 7 and 12 were constantly checking in with them after every fall, helping them get their trainers back etc. the music was super fun and my kids skated hard for 3 hours! They are 12, 5 and 3. I had to size down on my skates, pay extra for trainers and I wasn't impressed with the concessions at all. It took FOREVER for $7+ nachos, mozzarella sticks (overpriced as well), and a hot dog. The hot dog and drink were on special for $2.50 a piece so those were the best deal. But I spent nearly $100 on the 3 hours there with 3 kids and myself skating. And I don't understand how, at that price point they haven't upgraded anything in the 40 years it's been around. There is literal grime built up for 40 years, the bathrooms have short wood doors that someone tall could see over and there isn't much space at all. Not family friendly for a family establishment. I attended a party here probably about 13 years ago and was disappointed in the grime then as well. I told myself I'd never do one here. But I am because it's basically the only option. I do understand the nostalgia of not upgrading. I just think a good strip and wax of the floors or painting over some grime would go a long way.
