The large aerial zipline was closed, the taller walk the plank was closed and the toxic meltdown also closed . The attendant at the walk the plank worker mumbled something about "a piece missing from the taller one" after saying it was open and then checking. If you're understaffed wouldn't it make more sense to cycle the zipline crew to the closed ones so the paying customers can get what they paid for and go on everything? Everyone just seemed clueless about things being closed. That being said, the open stuff was fun.

I'm not from around here and I'd never heard of BounceU before, so I had no idea what to expect…read more But then my kid was invited to two birthday parties on the same day at this location...we put on the GPS and headed off for an adventure! This BounceU is in an unassuming building in a sort of industrial park. But there is magic inside. The facility was very well organized and clean. There were plenty of staff at each station, from the front check in to the play rooms to the party rooms. The rooms are a lot less chaotic than similar party places that I've been to. Each bounce room only had one party at a time. There was only one main door in and out. This gave me peace of mind that my kid wouldn't be able to wander off or get lost following a different party. After a long play period, the party ends with pizza and cake (parent provided?) in a private room. They play photos of the party on a TV screen and sing happy birthday. There are also little goodie bags with knick knacks. It seemed like all the kids had a great time and left happy.

However, before a battle could occur, a huge rainstorm (nor'easter) drenched the armies, causing Washington to withdraw. The main action took place around the site of the White Horse Tavern, however the battleless battle's namesake park is located on Phoenixville Pike, near the intersection with Swedesford Rd. The gravel parking lot is large and parking was plentiful. The meat of the greenspace is occupied by sports fields. There are two baseball / softball / Little League fields, a huge soccer field, and two volleyball courts. There is also a playground and picnic pavilion near the parking lot, as well as restrooms. This park provides a paved path for access to Chester Valley Trail. Parking for this CVT access point is in the Battle Of The Clouds Park lot. Having visited last week on a lazy summer day, I was taken aback at the unpleasant people vibe here. Other drivers in the lot were rushed and competitive, totally impatient and looking to cut people off (me, and others). IDK what the deal was, but people were in miserable moods. Hopefully this was a unique experience.

Friends told us it gets a lot more crowded when the concert is packed. Explored the stream, played on the playground and had a game in the field as well. Good drainage after recent rains. Bumped into other friends who happened to be there for the concert. After group activities, went to check out the concert and noticed the public bathrooms and tennis courts adjacent to the amphitheater area. It would be super fun to play tennis with the music going. Found a robust black cherry tree and some other cool species thriving in the park. Look forward to returning.

I take my 2 y. o. granddaughter nearly every week. There are so many wonderful things to explore…read moreand learn from. They have a walking path through the woods with a natural playground and sandbox, a bird house building to watch and interactive displays, a mini zoo inside a house with small animals and activities including a treehouse. They also have weekly activities and seasonal events for elementary school kids. My granddaughter calls Briar Bush "The Animal House" and loves to put a donation in the collection box before we leave.
