We obtained fabulous results from skilled attorneys, Heather Orisko and Patrick Lauer. They were…read morewonderful with their communication & responsiveness. They are worth their fee. We would not hesitate to recommend or hire them again, if needed. Our daughter received her first and only traffic ticket for a high rate of speed on a PA highway. We made the mistake of advising her to pay the large fine thinking that would be punishment enough. Later we realize it was actually admitting to a guilty conviction, leading to even greater consequences with insurance, points, and possible suspension. Thank goodness the Law Offices of Patrick Lauer came to our rescue and represented us. They were able to negotiate a plea to reduce the speed of the infraction. This also help us avoid making the trip from out of state. Both attorneys worked together to negotiate on our daughter's behalf. Heather answered my endless questions about options and the various procedures through phone calls and email. She even gave me tips on local hotels and parking for court house. Patrick was quick and to the point while on the other line with the DA's office, then he called back to follow up. They are an amazing team. Nice people, great service! Our only regret was that we didn't contact them sooner!!

They are the worst attorneys I have ever seen. They lose the case, so you can appeal and make more…read moremoney. They did absolutely nothing in the courtroom. They must have felt like strangers, having never been in a courtroom before. Their entry into the justice system is inappropriate, and they should not be involved in legal matters. They came to the courtroom unprepared mentally, physically, or emotionally. Heather, the attorney, asked two questions throughout the procedure, it was humiliating.

Says he cares about people and takes his job serious about being a defense attorney. First he said…read morethat he could get the erroneous charges dropped, to which he never even talked to the District Attorney or the police officer. Next my case got moved to a different court and instead of having a preliminary in 15 days after arraignment, we had to wait an extra 45 days because he did nothing to speed things up or even contest the moving of the hearing. Then the preliminary hearing came and he virtually did nothing! I kept asking him to show my evidence to disprove the police officer, but he wouldn't present it. Also when the officer said what evidence he seen from the alleged victim, I asked Mr. Hoover to ask him to see it, because the law allows for it, but Mr. Hoover didn't seem to want to do that either. Needless to say that my case got bound over to trial and I somehow got an additional felony charge filed against me. From the very first week, I uploaded everything that proved my case and innocence. Mr. Hoover said he reviewed all of it and that is why he believed the case would be dropped right away. Today when I was sharing files with another attorney for review I noticed that Mr. Hoover never even looked at the files. I know this because the website shows the history when someone logs into view the private files and every file still just stated "invited". Money was an issue for my family and I and I was very clear about that up front and gave him a deposit, a few weeks ago when I attempted to pay him a chunk on my case he didn't take it, to which I am assuming because he knew he couldn't deliver on his promise. Now that the case is over and he got all scared at my hearing, he tells me he acted in such a way due to me not being able to pay him the rest of the money I owe him right away. This guy only cares about one thing and that is money. But I can't help but also think, that because he showed his true colors in the court room that he wasn't even capable to begin with. At the end of the day it is my fault for not knowing how the system works and it is my fault for not knowing how to hire a decent attorney, but the bottom line is, if an attorney is cheap, that means they are, if they come across like a Dumbass, that means they probably are as dumb as an ass. If you have a bad feeling about someone, chances are your gut will be right. This guy doesn't know the first thing about being a lawyer, and the only reason he is still around because he probably just negotiates plea deals so he can get a quick pay check. I can't help but wonder how many other innocent people have had the same bad experience that I did with this guy.

I have known attorney Vincent Monfredo for nearly 10 years, and he is a horrible attorney. I…read morestarted using him when he was a new attorney working for Carl Romminger out of Carlisle and he convinced me that he had what it took to represent me in a handful of matters. His idea of representation was telling me to take the plea deals so he can get his money without having to do any work. Over the years Carl Romminger's office closed and Vincent Monfredo moved to shitty one room office in Camp Hill where he would continuously show up late for meetings, half dressed, and still putting on his tie as he walked through the door. It was during this time that I had a civil rights case which he said he could handle. Fast forward more than 2 years and he is dragging his feet. He constantly tells me that we are nearing deadlines, and does nothing but try to get them extended, and then blames me when I cannot drop everything I am doing and meet him an hour away. Today 9/19/18 we had a conversation via text where he basically told me that I am a criminal, I am a liar, I am a cheat, and I don't pay him enough. When I told him I was going to write a review he said that I just want to slander his name, but he has done a good enough job of that himself. Over the years I have known him, I have handed him handfuls of $100 bills and he didn't do any complaining then. Do you really want an attorney to represent you that thinks you're guilty? The civil case was initially set at 25% and I would pay the legal fees, but he stated that legal fees can get expensive and if I would go up to 33% he would cover the fees. But, since he is broke all the time, he messaged me today stating that I need to start paying the legal fees. Here is the transcript of our texts. https://pastebin.com/v7nkd6sD AVOID THIS GUY AT ALL COSTS!
