So tomorrow is Chinese New Year, something I adhere to and celebrate. Every Chinese New Year I…read morealways go to my local Viet Namese Buddhist temple and pray for the earth & animals and leave prayers & offerings to Kwan Yin.
They always have all kinds of performances, invocations and prayers etc, but what I really come for is the Viet Namese vegetarian food & drink the temple sells on this special day.
It's manna from heaven, and if they did some kind of weekly weekend vegetarian cookout they would make a fortune.
Anyway, I cut my time short and decided to go to Krys P.'s Fo Guang Taiwanese Buddhist Temple in Tamarac as she solicited me to at the Yelpies.
The main reason I haven't gone to this temple is that they don't have a Kwan Yin shrine.
Um..when I arrived there was no Krys P., she either didn't show up, or she came earlier for the free vegetarian dinner and left before the prayers and invocations lol, so I had to wing it by myself.
This temple is small and doesn't possess the traditional Asian style architecture on the outside. The inside is kind of tiny but the main prayer hall is decent sized.
This temple is technologically advanced, they use giant flat screens and computers to post the prayers so the followers can read while in the main hall.
Surprisingly the temple seems to be dominated by female priests, I'm sure Hillary would love that.
The one thing that caught me by surprise is there are quite of few westerners that go to this temple.
Anyway, about 3 priests invited me in the main hall for the prayers for which I politely declined. I prefer to stay on the outside so I could spiritual scan the place as well as leave when I wanted too.
While everyone was reciting the priestess lead prayers and invocations I was sensing the shrine area with my "spiritual" vision, I wanted to see if this temple had the presence of divine beings or energies.
I didn't expect to sense anything but I actually did, I tried to see what I sensed but I was unable to. I needed to elevate my "spiritual" vibration to see what I was sensing.
After a few minutes, I saw what appeared to be two female beings with their right hands outstretched pouring out what looked like liquid energy into the main prayer hall. Both of them had their heads covered(kind of like Jedis) where I could not see their faces. I'd never encountered anything like this before.
Even more peculiar was there were more beings of an even higher vibration, but I could not elevate my vibration high enough to see them. What I saw were after-effects of their presence which appeared as flashing of lightning moving between the two hooded female beings.
This temple is definitely "alive", meaning the great high ones and spiritual energy pervades this place. So if you are looking for healing & blessings, you'll definitely find it here.
This was a very interesting experience.
