First and last time i will use this company. Their website clearly states "SIA Electronics offers this repair service with a 1-3 business day turnaround time once we have received your part at our shop. Return shipping via UPS ground can take up to 5 days depending on where you are located." They received my PCM on wednesday and i called on friday to check in on it as i never got a confirmation from them that they got it. It seemed they had received it but couldn't give me any information about the status on it and telling me it would be up to 5 days before i hear back. At this point i'm getting slightly irritated as i told my customer they would have their car back by next friday (plenty of time for the fix and return of the pcm as it only take 1 to 2 days ground to ship out and receive from my location). I called again today (day 5) as i still have not heard anything back from them and now they tell me it will probably be tomorrow. The lady on the phone is rude and shows no concern about their lack of diligence. I hope they get back with me today and make this right as i have sent an email to Zach explaining the problem. If things are resolved and i get the PCM back in my hands by friday i may change the review but as my current experience stand i would not recommend this company if you are on a timeline and trying to operate a business. UPDATE: Zach Bemet is the man im dealing with over email and he has much better customer service than the lady handling phone calls. In less than an hour from sending an email to him i got a reply with the information the lady on the phone could not be bothered with getting me which was the status of the PCM i sent in. I dropped off an IDM for a 7.3 Powerstroke for repair. Was told it'd be about a week. I was told they were having problems with it, and had replaced several components. Then they handed it off to the lead tech..Another week later I was told they're basically building me a new one, and finally after over a month I was told it's not repairable. I picked it up, and paid the fee. At home I decided to take a look myself. It hadn't even been opened. Still factory sealed, the board was still wax sealed as it came. Zero parts were replaced. I watched a YouTube video on how to remove the PCM from my 2003 Lincoln LS. During the video the guy mentioned that he would send the PCM to Sia Electronics for repair. I saw the reviews on Yelp but decided to send it in anyway. They called within two days of receiving my PCM and told me they could not repair it. Sent my Miata ECU in for repair. It took multiple calls to find when it was going to be fixed. Customer service rep said she left multiple messages on my phone. None were there. Received the unit and put it in my car. It would sometimes work and then sometimes short out a fuse. Confused, I finally opened the case to find they didn't even solder one of the capacitors to the board and it's leg was sometimes hitting the case. Unreal. I ended up fixing it myself. Don't expect any updates on your module, oh and they do not explain how the process works, they just tell you they will call when it's finished... No one was yelling Until I was disrespected, I asked you a simple question and you started being disrespectful, After being disrespected and treated worse then a dog for asking a simple question and then being transferred 3 times on top of being hung up on and no response for 3 hours yes I'm gonna be upset.. Not only did sia waste my money but time as well. I had to call ups just to get a call back from SIA ELECTRONICS on where my ecm was due to them not answering the phone and hanging up in my face.. Edit: I got my ecm back and it doesn't even line up correctly anymore, I sent the module in for a diode repair and received it back damaged externally, looks like someone was prying with a screwdriver while the screws were still in... there are gaps that moisture can get in from someone prying on it, they forced their way inside and bent the aluminum casing around the ecm which the motherboard sits on the inside of...I PAID EXTRA MONEY FOR BUBBLE WRAP AND A BOX, sia didn't even use the correct size box when sending it back... when they sent the ecm back it didn't even have any bubble wrap only 12 pieces of popcorn.. Send a FICM in, They lost the FICM, then they found it, then all the sudden it was unrepairable, told me to check my wiring, I did that first, before I sent it in, Sent it to another place to get fixed and that company fixed what they messed up. Will NOT be sending them anything else, save your money and go somewhere else. Another thing to add, Jennifer should not be answering a phone, she's short and snippy, quick to get you off the phone when asking questions, comes off as she hates her job . If I could give this company a zero rating I would. It is clear to me that this company is cheating people who live out of state. They promise repairs in an extremely timely manner, but, in actuality they do nothing to fix your part and keep your money. They had my part for over 2 months after a quote of 2 weeks max. The part was mailed back to me in the same exact condition in which it was sent to them. My local mechanic verified that nothing was done to the part. They refused to refund me. Found SIA Electronics on EBay. They specify they can have PCM diagnostics run and back to you 2-7 days after they receive it. If they can't find a problem, the fee was $89.95. After a month or more of calling, I finally spoke to a manager and expressed my disapproval. He said the PCM would be checked out and sent back that day. They sent it back saying nothing was wrong. I hired a local mechanic, paid over $500 to try to figure out other things that might have been wrong with the truck. Instinct told me not to trust their diagnostics, so I ordered a new PCM from another company & it solved the problem. SIA cost me so much time and money. I would not recommend their service to anyone. I am working on getting the $89.95 back, but I'm out of the rest of the money and money I've lost with it sitting. read more

tay Sway From SIA ELECTRONICS. These crooks took $170 for me, tested my ECM TWICE. And deemed it FINE. This particular unit will not send spark signal to the engine when the unit is COLD. When the ECM is room temperature, the car starts up without an issue. The circuit board has a bad connection, that is shown when the solder shrinks when cold. SIA ELECTRONICS technician has deemed my unit "good" on his "test bench". This facility is the biggest rip off and is literally STEALING from people. I have video proof of my ECM starting my car when room temperature. The owners and management do not communicate with you. We are going on 30 days with no resolution, and no refund. NOW, i am over $400 in repairs because these FRAUDS have stolen from me, and cannot effectively diagnose and repair electronics. read more

Summary: They returned my ECM with additional issues, failed to fix the new issue or find a replacement for 7 weeks, claimed they would reimburse me for a replacement, reneged on this claim and left me with a broken ECM costing $825 to replace. Details: I bought an ECM repair service for my 2006 Jeep Wrangler. The ECM would not start a vehicle but threw no codes. After I received my ECM back from SIA, it started my vehicle but threw a code related to a cooling fan (I took it straight from the mail to my mechanic). Since it came back with additional problems, I contacted them and they said they would try to fix it. They received the ECM a second time on March 11th. From the period of March 11th to April 29th, I called multiple times to inquire about the progress of the repair. After a month or so, they claimed it was unrepairable but that they would find a replacement. After failure to find a replacement, I told them I was able to easily find replacements. They said to buy one, send them the receipt and they would reimburse me. After doing so, they reneged and would only refund me for my repair purchase. In addition they demonstrated multiple, other general customer support issues: 1. Could not effectively change my return address upon multiple requests 2. Failure to call me back several times 3. Only looking for a core on Monday mornings 4. Dragging out our interaction past eBay's feedback period 5. Calling me names read more

I sent my ECM from my 2015 golf and was told after I called them, they had the computer for almost a week, at first they said the tracking number wasn't correct and asked for my name and shipping address. Later that day they said they had the ecm and went through all tests and tested fine and they were able to communicate with the ecu and that it was probably software that was bad. I took the ecm to the dealer and they told me they couldn't communicate with the ecm at all. I was still charged a diagnostic fee by Sia. I also sent the computer to G7 computers afterwards and said they couldn't repair it and refunded my money. I ended up having to get a brand new ecm from the dealer and my car is running again. read more

Mine was sent back quick replaced 6 capacitors and I had acid on the board they cleaned it. I saw these reviews and thought I would leave a nice one because they did a good job on mine.1996 Lexus Es 300. I found out I need ecu repair from the Lexus forum. I had a no throttle response would die when I hit the gas pedal it left me stranded 2 times .I needed 2 tows.It wouldn't connect to obd scanners when it was idling like shit and dying .Then it would run great again and would connect to scanners. I sent it to Sia I found them on Ebay as zkboys.They replied to all my anxiety questions lol .So I used them.I saw a few bad reviews and also good ones .I mean all businesses will have a few ppl who complain about everyhting. They offered them resolutions I saw their replies. Anyways I had my ecu put back in and it fired right up I only drove it around the lot so I cannot say how long it will last I hope forever they do have a warranty. They have been in business over 20 years so it is no scam like the guy below said they are a real business. Update 7/23/2018 Well, the repaired ECU failed after two years. I recognized the symptoms (gauges not working) and sent the ECU back to SIA for their analysis. I was prepared to have to buy a new/used ECU and have it reprogrammed, a relatively expensive process for a $2000 Jeep. This morning I received a new ECU from SIA, programmed perfectly and everything works again! The best part: this was covered under their lifetime warranty. These guys are the best! Thanks! I wish I could give ten stars! The earlier review from 2016... I had sent in my ECU (2001 Jeep) which would start, run for two seconds, then die. I guessed that it had to do with the immobilizer, so I asked SIA if they could remove the immobilizer. They could, so I sent in the ECU, which they checked out and removed the immobilizer, only cost being the diagnostic charge. After installing the ECU, the car started and ran perfectly, but there were no gauges. I concluded that there was still something wrong with the ECU and sent it back. They did a further diagnosis and repaired the ECU so now everything works perfectly. Best of all, no additional charges. Thanks, guys! Great job! You saved me a fortune on my old car! read more
