- - In November 2020 I had my whole kitchen redone and bought all new appliances from Siano appliances. My mother-in-law and several other people recommended them for their quality and history as a company. - I called Siano appliance today to redeem my warranty/5 year GUARANTEE that I bought. They told me in the most condescending way that even though I still had my sales invoice and Siano appliances warranty/guarantee protection plan paperwork (on the same letter head that they still use), that they could not honor the paperwork because they were under new management. -Apparently the new owners wanted to buy the Siano name but not the Siano guarantees. Apparently they wanted to buy the Siano distributors and suppliers but not supply the same customer service that came with the name. Apparently they wanted to buy a name and a company that had decades of trust and reputation but not honor the trust and reputation of the name . I feel bad for me and everyone else who over the last couple years have spent hundreds of dollars on a five-year warranty-guarantee as well as a 10 year warranty -guarantee who are about to find out that they will not only honor the warranty, but also the guarantee of getting 50% of your money back if you never have to use the warranty. This will be the first of many posts that I will make. Thanks to social media, I plan to find as many people as I can that have paid for the services and will not receive them. I will call the Better Business Bureau as well as anyone else I can to right this wrong. read more

This washer and dryer set is brand new. The washer will not fill up correctly and the dryer take 2 or 3 cycles the dry selected clothes. Siano will not do anything to correct this issue. They do not return calls. Do not use them! read more

I see many detrimental comments but I had the opposite experience. My Mom had passed away and I needed double ovens quickly as we were having her family celebration of life get together at my home. This was during covid and Mike located ovens for me ( a lot of time on his part ) and had them installed in time. I recently ordered a refrigerator freezer from them and now getting the run around. I called and asked for Mike hopeful that he could help and they said he was not there. I prefer to buy local but I may have to buy through big box. Unfortunately, the elder Siano passed away recently. His two sons are running the business now and both are dishonest. They will sell you a product and then cry delay, delay, problems, problems. Meanwhile, the truth is they never ordered the product after you pay them. At that point, the product is either more expensive or has been discontinued. They do not inform you of this and you have to endure lies and bullying techniques from Rick Siano Jr to get you to take a refund or the real scam is he plans to keep your money because they are planning to close the stores once the estate is settled. My guess is they plan to lock the doors this fall and leave customers hanging with orders and extended warranties that are no good. Do not buy from these scammers. You can find a reputable dealer or buy from the big boxes. read more

Mistakes happen, but how a company handles them makes the difference. My experience with Mike Siano (same name as in Siano Appliances) leads me to believe that the company is not an honorable one to do business with. After paying for a purchase with a check and leaving the store, he realized that he had mis-read a price when he wrote a quote for an appliance and ultimately charged me less than his cost. He called me to tell me that either I would have to come get my check or write another for the difference in price. I reminded him that we had a deal and a signed contract, but his reply was "I'm not going to take a $1000 loss because of this" I would have gladly chosen to withdraw my offer, but he seemed to think that I was obligated to do so and did not ask for my voluntary withdrawal. I purchased a Speed Queen Dryer from Siano's on Pleasant View. The dryer did not work when we got it home. We called the store immediately. They said they have a 50% restocking fee, and they refused to exchange it. We had to call a repair company to work on a brand new Speed Queen Dryer. We will have to wait two weeks for parts to come in. I do not recommend Siano's nor do I recommend buying the Speed Queen brand. read more

Last week, after damaging my induction cooktop beyond repair, I searched several local home improvement stores and appliance stores. No one had any induction cooktops in stock, and the ability to get one here quickly was severely limited. I contacted Rolly at Siano Appliance on Pleasant View and found him to be most helpful. I actually went into the store the next day and met with Ralph Siano, Jr. He was willing to sell me a display model or any of the induction cooktops he had in his warehouse. I needed to find one that would fit the cutout in my granite. There was one in the warehouse with the exact measurements I needed. I purchased the JennAir model and installation was set up for the next morning. I had a very positive experience with both the sale and the installation. We had purchased 2 major appliances through Best Buy in June. After 4 delivery delays our order was cancelled. We immediately tried Lowes. After 3 days, that order was cancelled. Apparently, there is a nationwide shortage on Maytag appliances. Anyway, I posted on NextDoor to see if anyone had a suggestion where to look. I was recommended to check Siano. I sent an email with the specific model numbers we wanted. Within 30 minutes, Carter from the Pleasant View location had called me. Later in the afternoon, we drove up to complete transaction. He made sure he 100% could lay hands on the appliances we wanted before confirming the sale. He took the time to price shop those models with Best Buy and Lowes to ensure our price was the best through Siano. And we are scheduled for delivery in 2 days. My experience could not be more pleasant with this business. Great job, Carter! No more big box retailers for appliances for us. read more

He asked me what I was looking for and I said looking for a front loading dryer to replace from set that the dryer broke. He said, "What Brand?" Went into the store on Park and listened to the only employee, who later claimed to own the entire business talk on the phone for ten minute while I looked around. After getting off the phone he asked what I was looking for and the immediately told me I wouldn't be able to find it anywhere for the price range I was willing to spend. While standing there looking at me eye to eye he told me if I didn't know what I wanted then he couldn't help me. So again I explained what I was looking for and the price range. He immediately got defensive and rude again stating that it just wasn't possible and that I should buy the over priced oven he had in store. After a few more rude comments I told him I would just shop elsewhere and left. Do not fall for this type of stuff. Other stores have way more stock better prices and way better service. This guy needs a lesson in customer service and I hope that he reads this and knows how close he was to getting slapped. 0 stars read more

Unbelievable that a store can still exist today with such poor service. My wife and I went into the Brentwood store and spent a lot of time talking to a sales person about all the appliances we would need for our renovation. The sales rep was going to put together a quote. It is now six weeks later, and we have made multiple phone calls, talked to numerous people, been promised quotations, been promised return phone calls - but guess what??? Nothing. Looking to make a major appliance purchase? Don't buy it from Siano Appliance Distributors, you're better off buying the big name brands at wholesale prices from stores like Best Buy, Home Depot or Lowes who provide good customer service and back up their word with contracts and service plans that they actually fulfill. To be clear, we have no complaints about our equipment, just SIano's service; our Maytag washer and dryer even earned a positive review from us on the Maytag website. We bought a washer and dryer from Mike Siano (yes, the son of the founder of the store), and apparently also bought his spheel about "genuine customer service"... he gave us the "local store, local service" good feeling, we could always call them with any issues, etc, and how we would be so happy with our extended warranty on the machines if we purchased the 5 year Siano warranty from them instead of from Maytag. Well, I thought that was what we got. Instead, last December, 4 months after we purchase the machines, I have an issue with water draining from under the washer and I call them to ask how to get a serviceman to come out under our warranty plan. I call the store directly about 15 minutes before closing that day because I couldn't find the warranty information sheet. I will mention that it was the day before Christmas Eve, I know, it was the holidays but I had a 1 week old newborn baby and water was everywhere and I needed to do something about it, so I called the people who told me they'd be there to answer the phones if we had a problem...boy was I wrong about that. After 2 calls and no answer, I tried one more time only to get Ralph Siano (another son of the founder). He scolded me for calling so close to closing, said the phone just kept ringing and I had interrupted him. I was in shock, he was so rude. I asked him for the telephone # for the warranty plan so I could schedule a service visit and was told if I couldn't be sure the washer was where the leak was coming from I couldn't get service. I told him the water was coming from beneath the washer and not behind it, so I assumed that washer was leaking.. I asked him how else I was supposed to determine if the leak was from the washer or not, I wasn't about to lift it up and that's why I was calling for a service appointment... This call just got worse, I mean, I just called for a phone #. He argued with me about the suspected cause of the leak and continued to scold me for calling so close to closing hour before a holiday...unbelievable. He was totally unprofessional and I never got a service appointment because he gave me the # for warranties with Maytag, not Siano, the place I purchased the warranty for our machines from...I can't make sense of being treated that way as a customer and wish I had purchased my appliances elsewhere after this interaction. read more

My husband and I visited the store on Pleasant View in search of a new stainless steel stove. There were 3 or 4 men sitting at desks as soon as we entered the store. Two of them were on the phone. We proceeded by them unacknowledged and browsed around. Once we got midway through, we saw 2 women employees who were having personal conversations, neither acknowledged our presence either. We proceeded all the way to the back of the store and browsed more. We did notice that there were no other customers in the store except us. After a few more minutes of browsing, no one came to check on or assist us. At this point, I was livid and told my husband that I was ready to leave and did not want to do business here. He agreed and we proceeded to leave. Once we got to the exit door, one of the salesmen spoke loudly and asked us if we needed help or were we just " blowing through." The nerve of of him to think we got in our car, drove to the store, walked around for 15 minutes to just be "blowing through!" We will make our purchase elsewhere since these people seemed to not care to acknowledge us or need our money... we are african american. They do not deserve 1 star. read more

Drove about 40 miles. Came in to buy a vent a hood. Thought I would pay a "look" fee of 70.00 for a person to come out and make sure there were no issues with installation. Steve set up appointment with Bonnie to come see me the following Monday and said I would hear from her. Bonnie didn't call to set up visit so I called her. Said she would call me Saturday to set up Monday time so I could plan my day. She didn't call due to a personal issue. I called Monday to find out schedule. She asked if I was on her schedule. ??? When I told her yes, she set up the visit the next day. Nice visit with my wife and looked at what I had. Before she left, she said we would hear from Steve (salesman) with purchase choices and to schedule delivery and installation. Today is over 2 weeks later. Haven't heard from anyone. Very nice people and the company has been around a long time. They must do something right to stay in business. Small jobs (1500.00) like mine must not be important. read more

I had a really bad experience at this so called appliance store? About a year ago I went in this place because my wife works for a apartment complex, and buys a lot of appliances from them. I was looking for a refrigerator and the owner came out and was helping me pick out a refrigerator. He acted like he was giving me a good deal. I paid for the refrigerator and left. When the delivery guys got there I was told I would have to sign a paper saying that I was aware of a dent in one of the front doors. I never saw a dent while I was in the show room. I accepted it because we had been without a refrigerator for 5 days. The delivery guys put a big dent in my wall bringing it through the front door. They called the store and I was assured that the owner would have someone come and repair my wall and refund some money for the dented door. Weeks went by and no call or anything. I went to the store and talked to the owner and he wrote down my name,number and address and said he would call me in a few days about the repairs. No ever called or came to fix anything. $1300 for a refrigerator with a dented door and a newly redecorated wall. Don't buy anything from these rip offs! The owner is a Liar and a thief! Save yourself some money and heartache, go anywhere else. They don't want your business! read more

Following the recommendation of a service man and people in the repair industry I decide to look at a Speed Queen machine. I went to Siano's where I was treated to the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE imaginable. This misogynistic sales man started out by discrediting the recommendations of the service man. The sales man, after all, "should know what a good machine was I sell them". I beg your pardon, but I would guess selling them versus repairing them would lead to different perspectives. But what do I know? I'm a girl. I asked several questions, he only answered a few stating, "This machine can take a beating." Which was not what I wanted to know. I continued to ask. He told me that from listening to me this was the machine I need. When I asked about drum size he huffed loudly and repeated that I didn't need to ask questions, this was the machine I needed. I then told him I would need to discuss this with my husband which is why I asked the questions. When I was leaving he said he hoped I could get my husband's approval to come back and buy one. It's been a long time since someone has been that outwardly rude and dismissive to me. I drove to a different distributer in Tipton County, spoke with an incredibly nice man who answered all my questions and explained more about the machines. I handed him my $900. So run from Siano's. I wish I had read these reviews prior to purchasing appliances. I chose to buy locally over the internet because I was looking for good customer service in case there was a problem. I purchased a Jenn Air gas range, vent hood, dishwasher and a Kitchen Aid refrigerator a little over a year ago for our remodeled house from Siano. During this time the refrigerator was installed incorrectly, the stove stopped working and my vent hood went out in May. I have been two weeks without a stove at Thanksgiving and the workers are here today 9/12 to replace the hood 4 months later. When they called two weeks ago to set this appointment I asked why it would take so long. The response I received was we're busy!!! You would think that after 4 months I would be at the front of the line!!! That saddest part is now the dishwasher is not cleaning properly!!! I wonder how long I will hand was dishes??? read more
