This unassuming restaurant was a highlight of our girls trip to see a concert at Tanglewood. It was a rainy evening, so instead of picnicking at Tanglewood, we decided to go here for dinner. What a great choice! Upon entering, we were a bit panicked when asked if we had reservations, but fortunately, they were able to seat us after about a 10 minute wait. The four of us were squished waiting just inside the entrance but the smell of the food and the view of the kitchen kept us entertained. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. Two of us had the eggplant lasagna, one had La Meguita- a flatbread with chicken and bacon, and one had the Salmona- an arugula salad with salmon. Two of us ended the meal with an oat milk latte. It's a little off the beaten path, but well worth the drive. I happened to be in the neighborhood and immediately spotted the classy fresh paint job on a building that has always been an eyesore IMO. I was excited that a new restaurant replacing what was once Elizabeth's. I dropped in planning to grab a take-out menu if available. As soon as I walked in, I could see the professional chef busy in the kitchen tossing a pan of pasta in the air, then adding ingredients and tossing again. The repeating the process with a different combo. He was busy efficiently making a large take-out order. The smells were so delicious, I decided to treat myself to my first sit-down meal since the pandemic. I'm Italian and the pasta looked like it might be homemade, so I asked the server. He proudly announced that everything is fresh and they not only make their own fresh pasta, they also bake their own fresh bread. He showed me a lovely display set of some of their fresh pastas (see photo - they even have squid ink pasta!). I was going back and forth between ordering the Spicy Fettuccine Puttanesca with fresh Ecuadorian Shrimp and the Three Cheese Ravioli with Alfredo Sauce. I finally decided on the latter and was not disappointed! Pecorino, ricotta, goat cheese and portobello mushrooms = Yummy! WOW, I have to bring my mother here. My family LOVES Ravioli Funghi and these were some of the best I've ever had. The downstairs is also a coffee bar - so next time I will have to review their espresso and barista skills Save yourself the hassle and expense of parking in downtown Pittsfield and support this new family-owned business! And watch out Mazzeo's, there is a new Italian place in town and they are certain to give you a run for the money! One of the best Italian meals we have had in a long time. Everything we had was outstanding. Service/attentiveness was excellent. We started by sharing the burrata... creamy and tasty. We added the prosciutto, and it was served with nicely dressed arugula and toasted bread. The olive oil was excellent. I ordered homemade spaghetti with bolognese sauce, and added crumbled sausage (sorry, the picture did not come out). Was delicious. Sauce just right and very generous crumbled meat. Sauce reminded me of the tomato sauce I've had in Italy. My wife ordered the fettuccine with Alfredo sauce and added chicken. This was also excellent! We finished with Cappuccino and shared the Panna cotta. This was also wonderful. Just the right consistency with a tasty berry topping. The only feedback we'd give is that this would be better served in a different type of bowl. The shape of the glass made getting it out just a bit difficult. But well worth the effort! Cappuccino came out hot and tasted great. Prices were very reasonable as well. The restaurant itself is in an older stand alone house... don't let the exterior fool you. It is lovely, spotless, and nicely decorated inside. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area (we're staying in Lenox at a BnB for the weekend... well worth the short drive to Pittsfield). We came here for brunch on Sunday. The experience was Great!! Fun and friendly greetings from the husband (chef) and wife (host/ server) We split the Joey and Calamari. Both were delicious. The bread on the Joey was homemade, eggs perfectly cooked, house sausage was great! cheese curds were perfectly melted. The calamari was perfectly cooked. The rosemary flavor was perfectly balanced. Came with a large party of 12 after a day of skiing. This place is very small but has very warm and friendly ambience. We got the large and only table on the main level in front of the open kitchen and it was perfect and cozy. The staff was super friendly and attentive and everything we ordered was delicious. Their Charred Truffle Octopus the flavors are so well done, octopus melts in your mouth and the orange paste - i cannot even tell what that flavor was but it was really meticulously done. The mushroom has a rich umami flavor. The ink gamberetti was also really flavorful! Lots of well cooked seafood, make sure to mix it well with the sauce (has dried tomatoes, capers, toasted garlic). What an amazing place! Truly the best food in the area. In town to see family and picked Sibaritas for lunch based on Yelp reviews. Every 5-star review given is well deserved. Fantastic attentive service and great value. What can I say about the food that hasn't already been said in other 5-star reviews...it's just that darn good! Meatballs were perfectly seasoned in a sublime tomato sauce. The hand made crostini served with it just makes you love this appetizer all that much more. The salmon meunière was so flavorful and the risotto served with it was incredibly creamy with the perfect consistency. We couldn't resist the delicious carrot cake for dessert. I came alone on a tuesday around 12:30. I was greeted warmly by two servers and given a chose of seating downstairs or upstairs. I chose upstairs. The decor is very simple and clean. Several items on the menu appealed to me. I came for fresh pasta. I had eggplant lasagna($19.), a side green side salad ($5.) Italian red wine ($10.) and expresso ($3.). everything was delicious!!! I asked for some bread(which I read is homemade). Delicious- it should have come with the meal(without asking). The total was $38.52! Plus a tip. The food was fabulous, the service outstanding...but the bill was way too high for one person(no leftovers). So, I loved this place but ,in my opinion , prices too high(especially here in Pittsfield). A solid 4+...would have been 5, except for the prices. read more

Wow. Place was packed on a Monday night. Wonderful brick walls, incredible wooden door, great bar. Service was really kind, attentive, and professional. I got the cacio e pepe with shiitake mushrooms. The sauce was definitely an emulsion, linguine was al dente, and the shiitake mushrooms were cooked perfectly as well. Flavor was balanced: creamy, correct amount of salt, umami from the shrooms. It's a simple meal but they are still showing off. Don't know a ton about wine but I loved my rosé. Will be back ASAP for the affogato. I wish I had room for it tonight. Do not sleep on Sibaritas. So much better than a nearby restaurant that I won't name. read more

What a heavenly surprise in Pitsfield. Everything is made by hand and fresh. We had the Sangria which was so delicious and the calamari for appetizer and raviolis all hand made for entree which watered in our mouth. My husband and I are locals but had never been here. We stopped in for lunch on a friend's recommendation. The 3 stars are for friendly service and tasty, good quality food. It is only 3 stars because it was overpriced and one of my biggest pet peeves is a sandwich served with nothing on the plate. If I spend $13 on a sandwich, you can slice and fry some potatoes or something. At least a pickle? It's definitely not the type of place to throw some Lays on the side but a few root veggie chips and a fermented pickle would have been a perfect addition. . The atmosphere was also awkward. The server, although friendly, was too formal and hovered. Although it looks very casual, it felt like they were trying to make it feel upscale to justify the prices. read more
