After purchasing a new Civic there, we had our trade devalued because they pulled the service records (which were incomplete as we had work done other places) and tried to take thousands off the trade-in value for things they thought weren't maintained. Total joke. Service has also stonewalled us on engine repairs under extended warranty due to our vehicle having a previous salvage title for side damage that was repaired. Basically, they will look for any string they can pull to make you spend more money. It's the definition of a shady used car dealer. If you want to be treated well and valued as a customer, do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

That done, after 45 minutes waiting, the rep came out and told me that the part they had for my car had instead been installed on a new car in the lot. (I was told when I made the appointment that it was the last part they had, and they would save it for my vehicle). I was shocked to hear this, as this is a serious safety issue. I am not to fill the gas tank over half full, and Subaru instructed owners to park away from our house if the outdoor temperature rises quickly!! I chose a Subaru over several other vehicles, and now am seriously questioning their commitment to their customers. It seems that customer service should honor an appointment made to fix this, especially verses putting the part scheduled for my car onto a vehicle on the lot. I am currently waiting for them to get more parts in and I guess I'll try again. I am, so far, not impressed!!

I already knew it was out. I wasn't asking them to "diagnose" it like it was some mystery problem. They charged me $57 for the oil change, then turned around and charged me $180 as a "standard service fee" just to tell me the pump was out and needs replaced... which is exactly what I told them when I walked in. When I brought it up to Kevin (service advisor) and asked what that $180 even covered, he said they might check wires and connections but when I asked what they actually did on MY vehicle, he had no idea. How are you a service advisor and you can't explain what was done, but you're still forcing a $180 charge? Kevin was also rude as heck about it. This is exactly why auto shops have the reputation they do because places like this will charge you almost $200 for nothing and act like you're the problem for questioning it.

I gave each the exact same parameters: My wife and I were motivated buyers and were making our decision in a few short days, I had financing in my pocket so it was a cash deal, I didn't need to see or test drive the vehicle as I had rented this model/trim for 2 recent, extended business trips, and I just wanted their best 'no haggle pricing'. On Tuesday, I received an email from Duane K, sales manager, laying out his discounted price with the VIN # so I could reference it back to the actual car they had in stock. I asked him to send the Purchase Agreement for review and early Wednesday morning it was executed and returned to him. He honored his quote from his email and I honored my pledge not to haggle his quote down 1 cent. I made arrangements to make the 2 1/2 hour drive to Lincoln to take delivery and that was a pleasant experience too. There were a couple of minor glitches that arose but Duane stayed on top of those to my 100% satisfaction. I have to admit, I was skeptical that the car I purchased on-line was going to have only 7 miles on the odometer when I took delivery but it did! Very honest and trustworthy.
