Charged for $180 for something I already told them was broken I came in for an oil change and I told them straight up my windshield washer pump was out and needed replaced. I already knew it was out. I wasn't asking them to "diagnose" it like it was some mystery problem. They charged me $57 for the oil change, then turned around and charged me $180 as a "standard service fee" just to tell me the pump was out and needs replaced... which is exactly what I told them when I walked in. When I brought it up to Kevin (service advisor) and asked what that $180 even covered, he said they might check wires and connections but when I asked what they actually did on MY vehicle, he had no idea. How are you a service advisor and you can't explain what was done, but you're still forcing a $180 charge? Kevin was also rude as heck about it. This is exactly why auto shops have the reputation they do because places like this will charge you almost $200 for nothing and act like you're the problem for questioning it. read more

I took my dream car, C6 Corvette towed to DuTeaus because it wouldn't start. I ended up having it towed there 3 different times. I payed them $4000 for the repairs they allegedly made. The car still was not fixed. I offered to sell it to them but the used car guy would not return my calls. The salesman who I had a couple months before bought a new car ghosted me also. All I wanted was to get my car fixed. They assured me it was fixed even though they had someone test drive it but told him to not shut it off because they were afraid it wouldn't start again. They knew it wasn't fixed, that's why they didn't want to buy it. I reluctantly sold the car to another dealer who immediately had issues with it. They asked me what they should do and I told them to take it someplace and not DuTeau's to get it actually repaired because their so called Corvette mechanic is clueless. had a taillight replaced, when i got it back the taillight stopped working within a few days. Made an appointment to get it looked at and the wait was 3 weeks out. Okay, i understand places get busy. Appointment to have it looked at was at 7am. Checked in at 7 and told them i would just wait since a taillight would seem to be a quick fix. waited around until 11 before anyone came and said anything to me when they said they were waiting for a technician to come take a look at it. They hadn't even looked at it yet! Meanwhile multiple people who arrived after me had been in and gone. I received a ride home from one of the drivers who was a very nice guy. After being home for 30 minutes they called and said the vehicle was done and i could pick it up. So overall i wasted half of my day for something that only required 30 minutes to complete. i asked what the wait time was for the driver to come pick me up and was told two hours. I instead decided to ride my bike 7.5 miles to get back to my truck(which i dont mind, but some people don't feel the same). i know they are busy but if someone has an appointment at 7,they should be the vehicle that is looked at before people who have an appointment at 10. Since they thought i was dropping off the vehicle and leaving i was placed at the bottom of the priority list. disappointed in todays experience. on a positive note, the cashier is super nice. read more

While traveling, we noticed the tire pressure was low in our truck. We put air in, $1.50 at a truck stop, ack! Highway robbery, then proceeded to drive on our merry way. Noticed pressure dropped again, so we called this Chevrolet dealership. We spoke with David who assured us they had time to check out our tire. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN TOWN. Took my car here to get an oil change and other routine services. Told them that one of my tire pressure sensors was not working and probably needed to be replaced. The guy there acted like I was crazy and had no idea what I was talking about even though my car literally gives me that notification. When I got my car back they had rotated the tires but didn't recalculate any of my tire pressure sensors, so now I don't even know if they actually fixed it. I will never be coming back here. I'm offered a ride to work or home; if I'm just getting an oil change, I wait and it's always done in about 45 minutes. Cashier staff is always friendly. I had some body work done here last fall. The estimate was considerably less than at Dillon's across the street. Work was completed as expected and within the time frame promised. Horrible service department! Bought a traverse from there two years ago and have nothing but trouble since. Thank god we got the extended warranty. Bad thing is we have to fight the service department every time because they don't want to accept the warranty they sold. Heaven forbid you ever have to deal with Jared there-worst customer service skills I have ever seen. I was very pleased with how the dealership handled my issue with my car. We have had the same issue with the transmission several times, and our vehicle was out of warranty. The dealership understood my dilemma, and charge a very fair price for the repairs. GM knows that this is a known issue with this car, and has done nothing to resolve it. The Saturday service program needs to be modified. First come first serve is a poor option, and the timing makes no sense. I was first in line 10 minutes before the shop opened and it took 2.5 hours for an oil change and tire rotation! Shouldn't I have been first? Is it really that hard to schedule Saturdays out? Scheduling was cumbersome (via email). I was in for a recall, they didn't know why I was there. I gave instructions to leave keys in the console, when I got in we couldn't find the keys - they were somewhere in the dealership. DuTeau did not clean truck, did not inflate tires. Brand new 2016 tuck and been in twice, DuTeau difficult to deal with and not happy with 'service.' When they finally found my keys (thank goodness someone still inside after "closing) and brought them out to me, they gave me the name of some lady to call. I said, 'have her call me.' I've Never heard from her / them. Was supposed to get a "coupon" to come back for a wash. Never happened. read more

Don't trust what the finance people tell you. I was told something when signing my lease that come to find out at the end of the lease was not true and cheated me out of several hundred dollars. They refused to work with me to settle this issue and basically told me I should have known better. read more
