But they had it tore down and no way for me to get it back. So I went along, kept buying more parts.... Long story short. I just paid over $1300 for a basic tune-up, and I bought the parts! They've had the vehicle for 6 weeks!! Best part, they wait until today to tell me the wipers were too difficult and those are still broke. Without going into great detail, he wouldn't even consider that the problem could be handled by 6 to 6 without having to take it to a dealership. I expected him to offer to have me bring it in so they could at least look at it, but he seemed unwilling to have 6 to 6 even attempt to resolve the issue. I'm so disappointed in the lack of customer service from a shop I'd been relying on for years. I've found a new repair shop, but I'm really sorry to have to end my customer relationship with 6 to 6 Auto Service. Perhaps they can afford to lose customers over the poor customer service provided by one employee who apparently doesn't understand how to accommodate a client.

Charged for $180 for something I already told them was broken…read more I came in for an oil change and I told them straight up my windshield washer pump was out and needed replaced. I already knew it was out. I wasn't asking them to "diagnose" it like it was some mystery problem. They charged me $57 for the oil change, then turned around and charged me $180 as a "standard service fee" just to tell me the pump was out and needs replaced... which is exactly what I told them when I walked in. When I brought it up to Kevin (service advisor) and asked what that $180 even covered, he said they might check wires and connections but when I asked what they actually did on MY vehicle, he had no idea. How are you a service advisor and you can't explain what was done, but you're still forcing a $180 charge? Kevin was also rude as heck about it. This is exactly why auto shops have the reputation they do because places like this will charge you almost $200 for nothing and act like you're the problem for questioning it.

No pressure while I read warrantee paperwork line by line, gave me a quiet place to study and a highlighter. Answered my questions, no pressure... long test drive, easily an hour... no pressure. Patience while I jumped through the hoops of getting final loan approval from my credit union. 5 star salesman. Only issue I had was the backroom addons phase of the car purchase, a charming lady tried to sell me $7000 worth of fluff with her dimples and laughing at my bad jokes. Real test will be if I ever need them for warrantee work, that is the true test of quality.

The tools appear more than adequate and the staff seems to be professional. Asking further questions, the diagnostic/scan will cost you $139 and if they have to do further diagnostic then it will cost more. When asking about service rate, the basic answer was, depends on which tool we use. Their pricing was way too vague for me that it gave me an uncomfortable feeling. I went down the road to auto zone where they scanned my car for free and told me the gas cap had been loose and it threw a code. This business model reminds me of the "Authorized Bosch Service" that would service higher end BMW, Porsche, Benz and a host of high end Italian jobs. If I have some serious repair, I might be back. But only with a firm price.
