The receptionist followed the same routine as I was contacting them for the first time. She forwarded me to the same laywer and she started asking me the same exactly questions. When I told her if they are interested in my case, she replied we don't do cases like yours and we can refer you to another laywer, although they had originally told me that they were interested. Unbeknownst to my family until 2020, per county records, Mr. Lamkin never even created a trust with its own tax ID for my mother's assets - they were unprotected this entire time and the five year lookback period to be restarted in 2020 when we properly engaged this with another elder care lawyer. I tried to ask for confirmation with Mr. Lamkin's office several years before 2020 to which he declined to respond to several inquiries. If he were ethical, he would give us a full refund along with compensation for lost time re: the five year lookback when we thought my mother was protected. SHAME ON YOU and SHAME ON THIS PRACTICE for taking advantage of vulnerable folks and their families in late life!!!!!!!!

Hardly ever returned calls or emails in a timely fashion. 3. When I had an emergency in my divorce regarding my children, I called his office and he took two weeks to return my call. The only reason he called me back is because the Law Guardian called for an emergency hearing. When we went to court for the hearing he wasn't prepared to represent what happened even though I supplied him with evidence which would have helped my case. 4. After firing him, he refused to send me my file unless I paid him a final bill. Once I did, the file was so small that my new attorney was shocked and mentioned that I should sue him once the case was over with. Luckily for him, I didn't.
