Dyers is a one-mechanic business, with another person helping with phones, billing, etc., in the office. So I would recommend getting an appointment in advance, unless you're broken down. Also, if you pay with plastic there's an extra charge to cover the cost of the credit card transaction. Cash or check have no extra charge. The environment at this shop is calm and businesslike, as it should be. And they don't try to clip you for anything you don't need.

On Thursday Katie called me in the morning to let me know it was in the last stages of being put back together, and then called again to confirm it was done and ready for pickup. They also washed the car for us! I also felt their prices were fair. My regular mechanic gave me a ballpark estimate on what I could expect to pay for this repair (based on what they'd seen another body shop charge). Barton's price was better than that, so I felt I paid a fair price. While I hope I never need to go to a body shop again, I would definitely go back to Barton's.
