They tried to stack on: A transmission fluid flush for $460 A drive belt service for $440 Front suspension work for $1,741 Rear shocks for $666 A valve cover/vacuum pump for $742 Worse yet, their $968 diagnostic conclusion to replace the throttle body completely ignores the classic textbook symptom of a car stalling specifically after getting gas--which points to a simple, cheap EVAP purge valve issue.They are clearly more interested in maximizing profit margins by rewriting the maintenance history on older vehicles than actually doing honest, pinpoint diagnostics. So my car was dead in there bay and it wouldn't start. Plus the original problem was still existing. They didn't claim responsibility and refused to tow it to the dealer.
