Beautiful apartment complex! My fiance and I have lived here over a year now and we love it! Office staff are amazing and always so helpful! Management keeps the pool area, gym, playground, landscape, etc super clean and well kept. Staff is also bilingual which is a huge plus in Santa Maria. Rosa in the front office is especially awesome! Siena Apartments -- If you go to their website and then go to move in, the experience will be completely different. The staff is unprofessional and not as well versed as you would expect. What you get out of the apartment for the cost is absolutely trifling. As much as I enjoy the fact you can't smoke inside the property, this just gives an excuse for cigarettes to be littered around every entrance. Broken glass, empty cans, cigarette butts, caddy service, and under-par amenities. No thanks. I left about 8 months into the stay and noticed a substantial increase in rent. Not worth it. read more

DONT MOVE HERE. Had two different families move in and BOTH gave us cockroaches because they live 15+ to an apartment. No one monitors who even lives their no matter how many complaints. Rent is ridiculous here and NOT worth it whatsoever it may look clean and nice until you have an entire family and their extended family living in a disgusting house. The management in the office were always very nice and took action when I had a concern or request. When it came time to move they went above and beyond to make my transition flawless. If I could give this place a zero I will. I live here & im telling people who want to rent here not to. There are a number of complaints that I have that are not getting solved. Mainly being the 10+ families living in a unit. A few months back we got a notice saying our building could've possibly had cockroaches which was due to the crowded units. It's just annoying having to deal with it. The noise is unbearable i can here my upstairs neighbors kids running up and down the stairs as well as my neighbors having loud sex which has been almost every other night. The amount of cars ONE unit has is a minimum of 5 so beside my assigned parking space my husband has to park on the other side of our building taking up the other spaces for the residents on their side. Someone was smoking weed inside their apartment which is bad for us because we are military & the smell cannot be on his uniform. The trash! No one can pick up after themselves. One family has a bbq & left all their plates and food on the table and we went out to clean it up. The pool is never monitored so random kids hop the gate to swim in the pool. read more

Madison is the best, anything you need she's so attentive and helpful. Madison works with you and will go out of her way to to assist you or find an answer for your request. I appreciate Madison goes above and beyond the scope of running the office to ensure my moving process went easy and she checks up on me to ensure I'm settling in well. The apartments are nice, new, and updated. Spacious enough and a great setup, and best of all offer privacy. At night the complex is very well lit which ensures safety as well as it's a gated community. The pool is heated and open late with the hot tub, or even the fire pit is nice to enjoy. Best of all the gym is 24 hours. The nice thing with these units is you have the option to have your own washer and dryer or use the 24 hr ones on the property. You have covered assigned parking so no need to worry about parking. The property is quiet at night and don't have people playing loud music in the parking lot and the community is friendly which is nice. The premises are very clean and well landscaped. I highly recommend to come talk to Madison in the front office and she will find what you need! Thanks Madison for making me feel right at home. read more

My boyfriend and I moved in here around April. They are one of the only apartments who are pet friendly and actually have reasonable prices! We at first were skeptical moving in with some of the bad reviews but we are so happy we didn't let those stop us because they are nothing like what the reviews say. The complex is so quiet and peaceful, there apartments are clean have never experienced any bug problems and our neighbors are great! The amenities they offer (pool, jacuzzi, and gym) are always kept up and super clean! We love it here! read more

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Upon moving out after I spent a couple days cleaning and painting the unit they still wanted to charge us a full paint and cleaning. The manager Erica in the office is the person that walks the units and makes these calls. I'm just wondering how many years of experience she has in painting etc. from my experience when you're moving out make sure you take a lot of pictures because they will TRY to keep your whole deposit for no reason. read more

I used to enjoy living here until I tried using the bbqs provided. They're always dirty and never work. As well as the jacuzzi. It's always discolored and sometimes the bubbles dont turn on. One or the ladies that works inside let's her 2 under age kids swim while shes supposed to be working and their running around in pool area jumping right next to people in pool nd the managers done care. But they literally stand out there and just watch all the kids in the pool looking like weirdos while everyone is swimming. They've been rude to my guests while we were in pool and I walked in to grab some water. They had made them leave. It was ridiculous and rude. They let people park behind garages that are in front and block other peoples parking but they dont care because they are "close" to management. Overall dont care for the people in charge and the way they work. Its shitty. read more

STAY AWAY!!! I am sharing this review with the hope of saving you or your family from making a grave mistake by signing a lease with this apartment complex. The complex and it's amenities are impressive at first glance but I hope to offer you some insight after having lived there for a year. The complex is fairly new and boasts a pool, gym, and outdoor recreational area. Superficially everything looks great. However, there are a number of things that you should consider prior to signing a lease with them. 1) The apartments look great on the inside and they should because they are fairly new. However, the insulation and construction of the apartments is very poor. I regularly heard my neighbor to the rear of us through the wall snoring at night. My family initially had to move from a downstairs apartment because the foot traffic from the apartment above us was so disturbing. The family above us had three small children and two adults and we could hear every foot step and jumping above us. This is something you will not come to realize until you move in. They often do the apartment showings during the day when families are not home. 2) There are a number of rules to the community which simply aren't enforced either because they can't enforce them or simply choose not to. A number of apartments have 10+ people living in them despite occupancy rules. They are typically easy to spot, look for the apartments with toys, boxes, and clutter on the patios. On one occasion I witnessed a family open the gates to the pool for a family party/gathering of 30+ people. The community gym is a haven for young boys in their teens to work out with their shirts off. If you have a wife or daughter, expect them to get hit on regularly while working out in the facility. I personally witnessed individuals working out without shirts and sweating all over the weight benches and other equipment without cleaning up after themselves...disgusting. There are also kids that regularly frequent the pool that do not live in the community. They walk across the street from neighboring complexes. 3) You can basically consider your deposit a "move out" fee. Despite making sure our apartment was immaculate before we moved out, we were charged for repainting the unit, carpet cleaning, and additional cleaning fees. This totaled more than $500 and is reportedly typical of all move outs. See the earlier reviews this happens all the time regardless of the condition of the apartment. 4) Security in the complex is also superficial. The complex is so large that the gate continuously opens day and night with the number of cars coming in and out. Kids sneak in and use the amenities all the time. A month before we moved out, a number of cars had been broken into and vandalized. Don't trust that gates are always working either. The back gate is frequently wide open. 5) If you have little ones, avoid the playground area. I would frequently walk past the playground to get my mail and would often hear young kids and middle schoolers cussing up a storm. Save your money and go somewhere else better. They will charge for this and that, even if you leave the place clean and nice the way it was when you moved in. I've lived in luxury apartments, huge walking closets, restrooms the size of a living room etc for only $850 a month. Siena apartments are overpriced for what you're getting. Small restroom, small kitchen, super small living room, walking closet "ok" but small room, no light in the room, no windows only a small one in the bedroom, no air conditioner. You might think people living there are people who behave but than again you see cops at least ones a week. You get all this for $1,400 for one bedroom... might as well rent a house. Renters beware! F your thinking about renting here I suggest you turn around. Let me tell you a little about our experience! They are way to over price yeah they have a pool that they say is heated all year round which it's only heated about 75% of the time. Yes it has a bonfire pit which also is broken half the time. There is a gym. Yet their weights are all missing. They also have onsite laundry which I've waisted about $50 on a washer and dryer that doesn't work yet they say they fixed it.. Oh and if you want to have a dog thing again because as soon as someone complains that your dog is barking they are quick to bring you into the office to discuss complaints and kicking you out.. Isn't that why we pay for a pet deposit?? Is a dog not allowed to bark??? I'm not sure were these ladies get there training but it's far from professional. We had to give away our dog because we were afraid if he had barked one more time we would lose our home very heartbreaking for a family member that you raised to just give away. Its like if your living in a mini jail. The first week we moved in we got a complaint for our 1 year old child crying. Then a complaint because I was playing music on my cell phone at 3pm. & withing that same week another complaint for bbqing hot dogs on the grill that was provided for our use. This is by far the worst place ever. Not to mention every year they raise the rent. For a 2 bedroom one bath is going for nearly 1700 I can only imagine next year. First off, do not live here! Did not tell me how to open the front gait or provide me with a laundry card. They have had bad customer service the whole time. Their dryer was broken and I had to argue to get reimbursed. They are trying to tell me I have to give a 30 day notice for my 6 month lease that has an end date.
