The garbage area is always clean and it has easy parking. It is located on a quiet part of town farther away from have your well traveled shopping areas. Play area for kids and areas for your dogs. You can pay rent via a portal which is so convenient. Setting up autopay makes it so simple each month. They do raise rent yearly but that's expected. Increases have been modest. Love the location, convenient market across the street along with an excellent food truck for a delicious meal. Many long term residents including my family. I would go in to pay my rent and stay chatting for twenty minutes! They are great about keeping noise down, it's so quiet, and the grounds are immaculate. The speed bumps are pretty intense, but that would be my only complaint, and can be avoided if you live in the front buildings like I did. The apartments and appliances are older, but the office staff knows that and are great when you move out. They don't "split hairs" over smudges on walls or nail holes. I'll miss them.

I've lived in every corner of this…read moretown, Mesa AZ, and Santa Cruz, CA and Kailani Village Apartments in Lompoc has by far been my best tenant/landlord relationship. Management is extremely professional, efficient and just plain helpful. I have been here two years and have NO complaints. The office staff always answers my calls or emails in a timely manner. They take their responsibility as a landlord seriously, if something goes wrong it is remedied immediately and without hassle. When I had a gas leak and the gas company red tagged appliances they were replaced with brand new appliances within 48 hrs. I have had two maintenance emergencies involving plumbing, one of which occurred late at night, and maintenance (who live on the premises) responded within 5 min. All of these issues are ones I could have had anywhere else and not a reflection on the quality of the apartments here what I am trying to convey is that management and maintenance are ON IT! EVERY TIME! The grounds are extremely well maintained, there is a Gardner here 1-2x a week. Maintenance patrols the entire property twice daily in golf carts and cleans anything they come across up. Rules are enforced strictly and thus it is a very very quiet community (the loudest thing is kids playing). There is not a pest problem but we are well maintained by the company's contract with Orkin. They do whatever pest control companies do to keep any pests at bay. I have accidentally left food out while I went to work and NEVER found a single pest of any kind which isn't so common in low income apartment communities sadly. Overall I am honestly hoping some of my family members can get apartments here if they move. It's hard to secure an apartment here because it's a little known secret that this is actually a hidden jewel in Lompoc. Apartments comparable in price here are not even close to as well maintained by Orkin or police. You just cannot find anything else like it I am so blessed to be able to live here!
