My boyfriend and I love Siena Pediatrics! Every visit we've never been disappointed and they always answer all of our questions for our twin girls. One thing I love the most about Siena Pediatrics is how well they communicate and the staff is very well organized. We have had urgent situations with our twins and they always call back. As per office manager/supervisor telephone call to calm me down and resolving issue immediately, I will give 2 stars instead of 1. As a busy and dedicated healthcare professional (having put in my sick/paternal leave) and now catering to full time dad role, it was exhausting getting an overwhelming numeber of healthcare professionals bedside, being with my wife, post partum. Recommended by hospital staff and conveniently located, one of the on call pediatricans from this clinic actually came bedside to hospital to check on the baby. Another doc also came to see us the following day. These visits were actually pleasant and reassuring. We scheduled our first outpatient visit 1-2 days prior hospital D/C for our newborn. We did appreciate their effort, attitude and listening skills. The problems began at our first outpatient visit when the nurse drew baby's blood to test slightly elevated jaundice levels and weighed her. We felt nurse's attitude was unprofessional and showed lack of attention to baby, but maybe she was having a long morning. It happens, Fine. I even apologized as appointment time was early and me adjusting to new sleep schedule. Was asked to come back in 2 days to monitor jaundice levels and weight. Fine. 2nd appointment: Same attending nurse. Doc advised for another blood draw, stating they would not rely on different less invasive methods for jaundice testing and blood draw is the most accurate option. Fine but we decided this would be the last blood draw, as we did not want baby to get more blood loss. Nurse just basically asked us to toss our baby on the scale for weight, and did not help soothe calm baby down after blood draw. It is normal for baby (in our case 3 week early) to lose a tiny bit of weight while she adjusts to our feeding. Doc assured us it was very minor weight loss and I agreed to monitor weight and do our best to feed her on schedule with higher calorie formula. Doc agreed. Waited for nurse to come back for the bilirubin/jaundice level blood draw. Waited approx 25 minutes in the room when my instincts told me she forgot about us. I believe she did. Wife went in the hallway to call her. Nurse told us "Oh? Doc never told me you needed the blood drawn, let me get this done for you right away". Not blaming the doc, maybe there was some miscommunication but at this point we began looking at other options/providers. It does not end here. I rec'd a call asking me to bring in baby, to monitor and check her weight. This would now be the 3rd visit in 5 days. I strongly disagreed to this visit. I do not know who the receptionist consulted, but after a 1 minute hold, she said, "okay it's fine, baby doesn't need to come back immediately, we'll see you in a week then". So, at this point we have decided on a new Pediatric clinic/center. For whatever reason (and I get it, it's business/customer retention) front office staff hestitated to provide medical records right away. It does NOT take up to 30 days to send in our medical records. Wouldn't it have been much more pleasant to say "Oh we will do our best to get this to you as soon as possible but it shouldn't take more than several weeks. In the meantime, we can see try and see how we can help you transition or resolve your concens to keep you as a happy patient." I demanded the manager to call me ASAP. Thank God she understood and respected our decision. Bottom line: Things do NOT need to get escalated to this level. I do not understand what happened from hospital to this pediatric clinic. There seems to be a lack of personal touch and listening to the needs of new, responsible parents who are both licensed healthcare professionals. (Baby gained healthy 3.5 oz and absolutely no signs of jaundice after exposure to indirect sunlight for 3 days). Thank you. read more

I am so happy I chose Siena Pediatrics for my newborn daughter. Dr.Shi is our pediatrician and we feel so lucky to have her. After giving birth to my daughter, the pediatrician at the hospital checked her up and said she had a heart murmur but it was nothing to worry about. I was a little worried about it but since the pediatrician at the hospital said not to worry, I decided I was just being a worried new mom. We set up our first appointment with Dr.Shi and upon doing her exam, she immediately noticed the murmur. She said she wanted to send us to a cardiologist for further testing. The cardiologist ended up finding that my daughter had a VSD which most likely needs surgery. We would not have known this if it wasn't for Dr.Shi being so thorough and not wanting to take risks with our daughter. After finding out her VSD diagnosis, Dr.Shi sat with us to discuss our concerns and made us feel so much better about the surgery. She is a kind, wonderful doctor that we feel very fortunate to have found. We also really like the office which is painted like the ocean. It's great for kids and relaxing for adults! read more

I figured I would get on here and write a review of my visits at Siena Pediatrics since I have never been able to find time to do so. I have 2 kids and always busy. I received a call recently from a female who identified as the front desk and who was very friendly and was just giving me a curtesy call that one of my children needed a well check. I scheduled the well check and within a few days I was seen. Every time I walk in there I'm always greeted and everyone is so nice and friendly while checking in and as well as the Medical people in the back. During this upcoming sick season especially with COVID I know they will be there to accommodate my children's needs if needed. I highly recommend this place for kids and adults if your looking for that family friendly atmosphere. read more

I LOVE Siena Pediatrics and most importantly Dr. Rema! I love her so much I wish she saw adult patients!!! From the moment I met her when pregnant with my now almost 5 year old I knew she was perfect for our family. She made me feel comfortable about my gestational diabetes and let me know what to expect after birth with the baby and really set me at ease. Five years later with two kids in tow we still feel like her "favorites" and my children even try to make up ailments to go see her! She is thorough, kind and takes her time with us no matter what it is. Also, I feel comfortable calling the nurse line whenever I have a question and always receive a call back. Over the years we have seen Dr. Carrie and Dr. Lillie when Dr. Rema isnt available and the PA Matthew - and they are all great! We love the nurses and office staff and over 5 years there has been very little turnover. I cant say enough great things about this practice and team of doctors and staff - they are fantastic! read more

I love that they could get me in for same day sick appointment. They have a sick lobby and a regular appointment check lobby. The receptionists are on point and friendly. The place is like a huge aquarium. Great way to keep the kiddos busy while waiting. The wait wasn't bad considering it was sick season. Our doctor was very nice and handled my kid like he was her own. So far every doctor we've seen here is worth the wait. We'll be back for their wellness checks. read more

Extremely disappointed with them. Recently moved here & needed to find new pediatrician for my 18 month old. Because of the yelp reviews, I decided to try them out. However when it came time to attempt to make an appt for my SICK child, she said their day was full. They opened at 8am (although yelp / and their website shows they open at 830) (picture will be attached) so I called at 8:40am. In my past experience when the person really needed to be seen, the staff would accept the appointment, with the patient knowing their wait time would be lengthy. The worse part? She didn't even let me schedule an appt for the next day. She told me I would have to call back again at 8am the following morning. As a busy mom, why on earth would u make me call back when I'm already on the phone with you now? I mean If my child is sick today, I'm pretty sure she'll still be sick tomorrow. I am usually very generous with my ratings but I had a horrible first experience with this practice. I had set up a prenatal appointment with Dr Carey and the soonest they had was about 2 weeks out, so I scheduled it, got the confirmation message the day before reminding me of my appointment, and then I show up at the office and the girl at the front says, oh we left you a message yesterday and this morning to reschedule because Dr. Carey won't be in today. I informed her that I did not receive any such message, and she speaks to her co-worker and turns out the associate that was supposed to call and reschedule me didn't do it. I understand things happen, and especially at a pediatric practice but she didn't really even apologize or try to find a solution. Instead she just says "well I don't know Dr. Carey's schedule for the next two weeks so I'll have to call you to reschedule". This is absolutely ridiculous. First off, I am due any day so the whole point of me waiting that 2 weeks to get in to see her and establish her as my doctor was so that this would be taken care of before I have the baby. Secondly, how is this kind of customer service acceptable? I have read nothing but great things about the Dr, but unfortunately the staff is a huge representation of the physician. I have still yet to hear back from the office to reschedule my appointment, so I am instead going to find another pediatrician who's office staff is polite, professional, and treat people and their time with respect. I updated this review due to the fact that office rescheduled me, (because I called them and reminded them they hadn't done so yet) and I just saw Dr. Carey today and she is awesome. Such a nice lady, really took her time with me and I will be coming back here when my baby is born/ The front office is something to be desired, especially at a pediatric office but Dr Carey is worth the first bad experience. read more

My son saw Dr Glasser since he was born at St Rose through about 13 months. I had three issues which ultimately made me decide to switch practices: 1. We would routinely wait for an hour or more for our scheduled appoointments with no apology. I even scheduled a visit for when they opened one time and still waited for 45 minutes. I understand pediatricians have issues come up with babies, but every time we visited? 2. Dr Glasser literally walked out of my son's routine exam before the appointment was over. I had three important questions I needed to ask (and after waiting for 45 min I thought it was fair I was able to ask them). She let me ask 2 and then opened the door to leave. I kind of said "Wait a minute, I'm not done" and she didn't seem too happy to actually give me another question. I mean the visit was 5 minutes maybe in its entirety. This is rule #1 of reasons you should change doctors-they are too busy to answer questions. 3. The office staff hung up on me. I got frustrated because everytime my son had a cold, etc, and I tried to get a same day appointment, I was told there were no appointments available. So I said something to the person that answered the phone one day "You know it seems like every time I need to get my son in for an illness, you guys aren't available." She hung up on me. That was the nail in the coffin. We have changed offices and my son now sees Dr Mische at St Rose. I am absolutely impressed with him, he never rushes you, and also immediately took care of a medical issue with my son that Dr Glasser wanted to put off later. I am not the type to complain but since I was new in town when I had my baby and didn't know where to go, hopefully this will steer people in the right direction. Hopefully the issues at Siena have been worked out. read more

Friendly nurses and doctors. I have been coming here since my son was born and have never really had many issues. Once or twice the doctor did make it feel rushed or unimportant, and several times I've had issues getting ahold of someone in the office when I call, but overall this is a nice place to take your children. read more

What happened to this place? The phone hardly ever gets answered and when I finally got through to someone to schedule an appt for a skin issue, I was told I had to try again the next day at 8am because they only give same day appts! What?! My husband and I found Goodnight Pediatrics to be awesome for any unexpected situations. We went ahead and scheduled our daughter's 2 year well check. The doctor refused to see us because the front desk took 20 minutes to check us in so therefore we were late! What a joke! read more

There are so many wonderful things to say about this practice. First, let me begin with how I learned about this office. My husband and I took a baby class as we are first time parents and were extremely nervous, excited, inexperienced and overwhelmed with the thought of bringing home our son. During the class the nurse (instructor) asked us if we has chosen a pediatrician; we had not. A few people in the class had mentioned Siena pediatrics and how they knew immediately after meeting Dr. Carrie and her staff this office was for them. The instructor began to rave about how caring Dr. Carrie is and how she actually use to sit in on the baby class after working a full day just to answer any questions new, frightened parents may have. I knew I had to meet her. I'm extremely close with my parents and they are very involved in my life in all aspects. How could I not bring them along with me? There I was 9 months pregnant sitting in a room looking at a mural of sea creatures and thinking this is such an important meeting! The next 18 years of my sons life in healthy or sick times was dependent upon my initial, maternal reaction. I looked at my mother who was echoing my sentiments. My dad was busy gathering all the packets of everything having to do with what children could have: allergies, colds, immunizations etc. Then my Jerry McGuire moment happened! She opened the door and had the most warm and inviting smile. I knew then. Just like when you try on the dress and you just know. We talked a lot. I felt like I was the only person in the office. She answered all of my questions: breast feeding vs bottle, immunizations, how she got into the field, her medical schooling etc. She even hugged me before she left! I knew this was going to be my son's Dr. It only solidified my feelings when both of my parents raved about how much they loved her personality and knowledge when we got in the car. My son just turned 10 months and I have to say I enjoy going to this office for his well checks and even when he sometimes is not so well. My son had horrible eczema when he was 4 months old. It was so bad he began bleeding from scratching himself. I brought him into Dr. Carrie and she immediately knew he was allergic to something and this was more than just infant eczema. She ordered a blood test and although it was not the most fun to watch your 5 month old baby get pricked with needles I knew it had to be done. One week later and her nurse called to let me know my son is allergic to eggs and peanuts. I cannot tell you how shocked/relieved I was to know what was causing his reactions. Since gaining this information and refraining from eating anything that contains either of those ingredients my son's skin is perfect again like a baby's should be. I was so grateful to have her recommend the blood work because now we know to avoid that until hopefully he outgrows it. Each visit I feel more comfortable with Dr. Carrie and her staff. I brought my son in two weeks ago for a little cold and saw the newest member to her practice Dr. Reema. Again, I left feeling a sense of calm. She spent so much time in the room with my son and was so extremely attentive to his needs. She could not have been kinder to us and gave me specific instructions of how to take care of him since this was the first time in 10 months he has ever been sick. Love, love, loved her! To sum up my long but very important review, know these Dr.'s are so absolutely wonderful, caring, and educated. I definitely without a doubt recommend this practice to everyone I meet that is looking for a great pediatrician. read more

This pediatrician's office is decent but extremely busy, so often you feel that you spend little time with the doctor and the doctor spends little time examining the baby or asking questions. The wait time is good. You are seen relatively quickly and the vaccines are done quickly, but for some reason our baby is extremely traumatized by the whole process. My biggest complaint would be the bill. They charge over a thousand dollars for vaccines to insurance, and that includes multiple injection fees when the baby was only injected twice. They seem to pad the bill excessively, and think nothing of it because it gets billed to insurance, the problem is we still end up paying quite a bit of that and this is the unethical practice that causes insurance premiums to go up. If I can find someone better I may not be coming back to this clinic. read more

I was happy with the Doctor Lillie.. but bothered that they knew my son was starting school the next day and gave him 2 vaccines in each leg and didnt tell me he would be in so much pain he couldnt walk... I was a stressed out mess for his first day of Pre school... had i known i would of spread out his shots!! Great office. My son had seen many different pediatricians in the first few weeks of his life. I was running into good staff, bad doctor, or good doctor, bad staff offices until I found Siena Pediatrics! Staff is kind and helpful and I only had to wait longer than 5 minutes once which is very nice to get in and out of the doctor. At 6 months my son is seeing Dr. Lillie and she's so great with him. She's always making him smile and takes her time while examining him. I appreciate her positive and welcoming demeanor and she never hesitates to go into depth when answering my questions. I started using this practice a year ago for my sons aged 8 and 12. I have used three of the doctors here in the past year and they are all caring. They are also extremely efficient, I don't think I've ever waited longer than 30 minutes to see the doctor which is not the case at many other practices. I highly recommend! read more

This place is fantastic!! I love that they have separate entrances, one for the sick kids and one for the healthy kids. The waiting rooms are completely separate so the sick kids can't run around to the well kids side. The receptionist is so friendly. I was seen at my appointment time and doctor Hidaji came in minutes after the nurse walked out. Dr. Hidaji was kind and thorough. It's always nice to find a great doctors office for your kids. First time here and we LOVE it! We brought my 1.5 year old daughter in after visiting a different urgent care over the weekend. We did not feel comfortable with the level of care we received from other Dr. so we came here to visit Dr. Rosalie Kalilie. She was great! We felt that she really heard us and our concerns. She took measures to rule out diagnoses and that gave us peace of mind since the previous Dr. at other location did not do this. She was playful with our daughter and gained her trust quickly. Staff was friendly. I like that they have a "sick baby" side and a side for "not sick" kiddos. We like it here and will be keeping Dr. Kalilie as the PCP for both of our children. :) read more

She's patient & kind, listens to all of my questions, and really brings a personal relationship in to things- which is something I never experienced in the 10 years I lived in Vegas prior to moving away. I had twins last Friday and didn't have a pediatrician yet for them. I found Siena pediatrics and called to see if I could get in soon for my babies first drs visit, they were able to get me in the very next day. I ended up waking up late and calling to let them know I was very late and would not make it. They told me they had time for me in an hr and a half later. on my way to their office we got a flat ( I can't make this stuff up, it was one of those days.) so I was late for that appointment as well (by 30 min) they were still gracious enough to see both of my babies and didn't treat me like crap for being late. They didn't even know what kind of a day I was having and what a big deal it was that they were still patient and kind to me. The pediatrician mr matt was the nicest dr I've ever had for any of my children. His kind and calm demeanor was everything. I'm really grateful I found a pediatrician I'll be comfortable with. read more

Have been taking our sons 3 and 1 to Siena Peds since birth. We just love Dr. Lillie. She is very knowledgeable and good with kids. We truly appreciate the time she gives with her appointments when we have questions. In addition, it is rare that we wait more than 10 minutes to be called...one of the reasons we left the first pediatrician's office we started with who had two hour waits even with a set appointment. Dr. Carrie performed our second son's circumcision and did a good job. No issues. She is the main doctor and fills in for Dr. Lillie when needed. She is great also! Recently, our oldest was sick and after five days of antibiotic, his ears were still extremely infected. Dr. Lillie was concerned enough to do three in-house antibiotic treatments before sending him to a specialist. Fortunately, her diagnosis was right and our son is feeling better after two days of treatments. It is nice she didn't automatically suggest tubes in the ears. Definitely recommend this office for new parents of young children. read more
