So I was looking to furnish my home with some vintage theatre art. And before I actually visited this gallery I stumbled upon their website. And what I found was pure gold! They had everything that someone like myself was looking for in terms of vintage theatre posters. During my search on the website I came across an actual old new stock Freak by John Leguizamo poster and I immediately fell in love with it! I had to have it! So I called the gallery immediately and spoke to this marvelous gentleman name Larsson. He informed me that they did indeed have this poster available for purchase and that he would kindly hold it for me for a few days before I actually had time to visit the gallery. But while I was on the phone with him I happen to ask him if he had any Les Misérables Theatre posters in stock and to my elation he said he did. When he first started describing the actual poster he had told me that it came in two pieces and that it was quite large, about 72 to 80 inches tall to be exact. Immediately I was intrigued. I asked him if he could kindly send me some pictures and he directed me to were on their website I could actually find images of this poster. And while on the phone with him I immediately navigating to location on website to see the images. And again I was impressed with what I had found. It was the perfect poster. Perfect size, perfect image, and perfect everything! I immediately asked him to hold this poster for me as well and that I will be there tomorrow morning to purchase both posters. The next morning as promised I arrived at the gallery and was greeted by Mr. Larsson himself. After our introductions He immediately went into the back of the gallery in retrieved the two posters that I wish to purchase. To say that the quality of these posters was perfect is an understatement. They were in absolute gorgeous condition and I couldn't wait to own them. I immediately asked about framing options and he directed me to a wall full of wood frame samples that I was to choose from. After much deliberation I finally chose the wood frames that I wanted to surround these posters with and the rest is history. I paid for the posters as well for the framing and was to return the in a few weeks to retrieve the finished product. As you can see from the pictures below both posters were nicely framed and even came protected with UV rated Plexiglass. I must say that I was very happy with the end results. To tell the truth, when I found Chisholm Larsson Gallery online I didn't know what to expect. But I have to say for my first experience with purchasing vintage posters this was so pleasant. To be able to find a business like this that takes pride in offering such professionalism, patience and enthusiasm for what they do is very rare nowadays.
