After being charged for three months after doing the steps needed to cancel my wifes membership, the owner Cat informed us that it is. our fault we didn't catch the charges continuing on our account. We spoke with the member Susan multiple times and did our part. they didn't do what was needed but continued to let us know we were the ones that were irresponsible. absolutely horrible service. read more

I came to Sienna Tan to prepare for a trip. Bre has been absolutely amazing and most of her staff. She has outstanding people skills. My experience with Greta, not so much. While I have been tanning and doing the wraps on a walk-in basis, it has been great until Greta. I walked in sans any appt as always and Greta got on a power trip because I didn't have an appt for the wrap. I asked if there were any appts that day and she said no. Then she ripped me for a good 15 minutes over no appt. Bre and her other staff have always accommodated me when possible which was always. Never a problem until Greta. I give Bre & most of het staff 10 stars. Greta 0. Getting chewed out over a lack of an appt when there were 0 appts for the day should never of happened. I thought she wasn't gonna let me do the wrap. I paid for 10. I had 6 remaining. Bre & most staff 10 stars. Greta 0 stars. There are rules, and then there's customer service. To top it off Greta was on a personal call when I walked in and had 0 urgency to get off the call while I stood there. Team Bre!! Thanks a ton Bre!!! read more

Love this tanning salon. Even as times are rough right now they are trying there best to keep customers happy! The salon is always clean and stocked with products for all skin types. Staff is always friendly when you walk in and they do everything they can to accommodate you as a guest. With the tough times and worry about the virus I will try to support them in anyway possible and have little worry about germs in a place that takes the time to combat germs on a regular basis and I'm sure they have added to there normal cleaning duties to insure the best service read more

I love this place. The price of a monthly v.i.p. Membership is awesome. The beds are comfortable and feature their own radio (I hate when a salon forces you to listen to their radio station.) This place, oh man this place. I cannot say enough negative things about this place. First of all it smells like moldy ham in the tanning beds, all of them. The spray booths are completely disgusting. Not to mention my gf broke out in hives (which has never happened before in her probably hundreds of spray tans). We tried to talk to the manager (Jess?) about it but it was obvious she didn't care about anything other than belittling the poor girl at the counter. With the abundance of tanning places in town, pick another one, you and your skin can thank me later. *edit after Terry's comment.* No idea wtf he is talking about. Wednesday I bought a week unlimited to get a base tan for a banquet. After tanning for 20 minutes I left feeling great. That night I was so burnt. By Sunday I was blistered with bulb lines and itching with a rash that appeared on my arm. I went to urgent care and without a fever I was sent home. Monday morning I came to the store to get a full refund of my week unlimited that I didn't use. I had to get upset and make my point before they would return to me the refund of 1 less tan. Wow girls. The review would say zero stars. Gross beds. The radios were outdated and the floor was bare. Dark rooms and had to buy your own peepers. read more

I definitely got screwed. After talking with my family about the price I paid for one tanning session, I quickly realized I was taken advantage of. I had never tanned before and didn't know much about tanning in the first place. I did get a tour, but was definitely put out. I will never tan here again. Great beds, you get lots of color and the price is right! My only issues are, I've been trying to get ahold of the manager for 3 weeks now and it's proven to be impossible!!! Also, the fact that they put new bulbs in there stand up bed and didn't tell anyone! thus, of course leading to a burn so extreme I couldn't bare to to put a shirt on. I know they were new bulbs because I called and asked if there were new and sure enough they confirmed! Last, every single time I've asked for extra time they never do! It's always the 3 min. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED! The reps working there are completely unhelpful and liars! I signed up for 3-months of service, but they kept billing my credit card. They started emailing me, saying that my payments weren't going through; I no longer have that account. NOTHING WAS GIVEN TO ME, but the owner so rudely blamed ME, telling me to see the copy of what I signed! I guess he doesn't realize his employees aren't doing their jobs but the customer is to blame! WOW. I've been in customer service for 20 years and I've never treated a customer with as much disrespect and disregard as they have! Now they want me to "bring the balance up to date" before I can cancel the service!! So, they want me to pay several months of service that I DID NOT USE!! What a joke! Horrible experience at shields location, I tanned for my normal time, but got seriously burned from new bulbs that were installed. No one mentioned that they installed new bulbs, and there was no signage. The Girls that work there are very rude and unprofessional, when I told them what happened! Also, they would not put me in touch with the manager. I have tried to get ahold of the manager/owner for Sienna tans for four months now, thinking about filing a lawsuit. read more

This is my first ever tanning experience. They just opened a new location right across from campus and had a buy one month, get one month coupon in the Collegian so I thought I'd try. $50 for two months in the lowest level bed, a pretty good deal I think. The beds and rooms are super clean and nice, and the bulbs are even. The girls who work there are friendly. From what I have seen this is one of the most affordable places in town for what you get! I've been going to Sienna Tan off and on for the last couple years or so. I always felt that if I was going to put my skin into a UV bed, it should at the very least be high quality, and that's what you get here! A couple years ago, I had a monthly VIP membership for a few months but decided to cancel it as summer got closer. Unfortunately, the cancellation must have gotten misplaced by a staff member, and I realized I was still charged after I had cancelled. The owner was amazingly kind and not only refunded that amount as Sun Dollars, but I'm pretty sure she added even more for my trouble because I went back several months later to find a lot more time on my account than I had expected! And the best thing is that the Sun Dollars don't expire like they might at competitor's places, so every time I go back to get a little bronze before my yearly beach trip in the winter, I have some still waiting for me! Sienna Tan is clean, high quality, has a very nice staff, and is super affordable. Definitely recommend! read more

I went in with my 17 year old to sign for her to tan. We were told we had to pay a more expensive price for the first month then after we'd be able to pay the cheaper price. When my daughter asked towards the end of her month..she was told no. I heard from the manager and now feel they took advantage of my daughter. We will not do business with crooks. read more

I was a VIP member for about 6 months at Sienna Tan their customer was usually great. My husband and were going on a vacation so he bought a matrix buy 2, get 2 verbally from the clerk that was working that night. His last tan he had we showed up 45 min before of when we thought they were going to close however they just changed their hours to closing one hour before. I would've known if they posted something on their door about closing early the next because I was there the day before a pretty big inconvenience given we drove 10 min and couldn't tan before our vacation. Not a huge deal (but this is why he missed his tan) Anyway we showed up a month later to use his last tan however the clerk failed to tell us there was a time limit to the deal. We were there and wanted to tan so it would've been nice to get at least get a sorry but instead the clerk (that I seen working regularly) was very defensive and unwilling to listen to what I was trying to tell her. I've been in customer service for 10 years and have always been taught to appreciate returning guests and the customer is always right. If I was the clerk, I would've offered at least 1/2 off in the lowest bed to my husband (given that he waited for me to tan for 15 min) My husband and I were very cordial and were trying to get our point across but instead I ended my VIP membership then and there. Since then I haven't gotten an apology from the company. I'm usually not a person to complain and give bad reviews actually this company has a good review from me on google. I hope in the future customers are treated with a little more respect. read more

Save your money. The girls at the desk are rude and not helpful what so ever. I have self tanned for years so I know the steps for a great sunless tan. I bought a deal that was going on at the time for 2 spray tans for around $40. The first spray tan I got for the event I was going to showed very patchy color, even after rinsing off in the shower. The NEXT DAY I was completely scaly (even after moisturizing) and the tan completely flaked off within 48 hours of getting sprayed. I decided to give it another chance months later to use my last free spray. Pretty much the same thing - rude service, and the places the tan stuck is very patchy and uneven. I did a clear level 4, which is supposed to be a nice deep golden tan. I would say my skin is barely a shade darker than it was before and my legs are completely white. Very unhappy with their service as well as the quality of their spray tans. Will not be going back and will continue to self tan at home as I get the best results from that. read more

I came here for the first time on Tuesday, and I was thrilled with both the service and the results. I tried out the spray tanning booth for my first time, and to be honest at first I was a bit reluctant. The girls who were working there though, Sarah and Bree, helped me out a ton and told me what level of a tan I should try. I did a level 2 spray tan and it turned out amazing. They had awesome equipment, awesome service, and a great environment. I will definetely be returning and suggesting it to all my friends. Don't hesitate to go there. They are amazing! read more

As with another reviewer below, I bought a 'buy two and get two free' package for the Matrix machine, and was not told the two free tans expired in 30 days. The two I paid for ended up being VERY expensive tans...for not that much more of a tan than I would have gotten on one of the lower end machines. read more
