I'm in town for a few months from back East and finally broke down to get my lashes done here. They're already turning from side to side, and crossing (day one). This means they were attached incorrectly and also lack density. I wouldn't even go back to have them corrected because they're not qualified to do lashes. I've had my lashes done for years. Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Detroit, Dallas.. and I've experienced everything from the best to the worst. Average at best, I'd be surprised if they last 1 week and I'm already debating the use of mascara to keep them from crossing. There's nothing more embarrassing than 'crossed lashes' that keep splitting and creating gaps. Conversely, there's nothing more satisfying than receiving compliments on a good set of lashes, but not from this place! I can't wait to go home for a set of perfect lashes. read more

I came because of the yelp reviews and I am so glad I did! I'm visiting from out of town and needed a lash fill. Most places won't work on top of another salons lashes - so I was glad when Aussie Lashes wrote me back on Yelp and said they'd do it. My esthetician Rachel did a lovely job and my lashes look amazing. I'm hoping to find another Bella lash salon back home - they are so soft and luxurious. What a phenomenal job this salon did on my lashes. They are thick and natural looking. The lashes on the outer eye are longer then the lashes on the inner lid, making them shaped and natural. All the lashes extend from the eye at the same normal angle. Rachel Shaw is careful, precise, and knowledgeable. I'm very happy with this service. However, I also had eyebrow microblading done here. My eyebrows are frustratingly uneven. read more

** update- sad that a business owner can't take responsibility for poor work and incorrect technique. Also that staff are providing you with inaccurate information. I was here with the esthetician for 2 hours and FIFTY minutes which is 10 minutes less than you stated the appropriate time is. I asked her to do classics and said I would tip the difference because of my tight deadline. She decided to do volume and told me she filled me about 70% (not 90% sorry). I let her know from the beginning just to do what she could with the allotted time and put NO pressure on her. When I spoke to your receptionist after being called about the irritation I was informed it was supposed to be for a touch up on the eye as well. Maybe next time ask your staff to provide you with correct information so you don't look ignorant. *** I went here about 9 days ago to get a full set of "volulash extensions because I couldn't get in with my normal tech. I thought for a long time about writing a review but felt that it's necessary. I really wanted to like this place, and had high hopes because of the reviews. The lash extensions visually looked fine, but were extremely uncomfortable. My right eye had severe irritation and swelling for about 5 days after the service. I did get in contact with the salon regarding my irritated eye, and was initially told it was normal and from having my eyes closed for so long. They did however call back about an hour later and asked me to come in the next day. I had a "consultation" with Rachel and after about 30 seconds of picking through my lashes she told me they looked fine and had nothing further to say about it. Extremely condescending and took no responsibility whatsoever nor offered to fix the huge gaps in my eye where the lashes had to be removed as they were touching my lid. The 2 stars are for the esthetician that preformed the service initially. She was extremely nice and professional, and when I did talk to her about the irritation she was very concerned and couldn't have apologized more. Although the lashes weren't great I do put it down to lack of training. I will add that I was a tech for a number of years and maybe more aware than most but after years of wearing extensions myself I have never had an experience like this. read more

This is the worst lash place ever! The customer service is super arrogant and will not try to work with you, and on top of that they take forever to do a normal fill. Last week was the 2nd time they charged me more than was agreed upon so please be warned about this place! I went in for a normal fill and told them on the phone (3 times to be clear) that I don't need a full set nor do I like my lashes too full so they said ok but wrote my appointment still down as a full set (like wtf ?!?), and then they tried to blame me that I didn't specify that with the technician as well (I guess you have to repeat yourself 4-5 times?). Besides, they're supposed to tell you before the procedure if they need to work on you longer and if the price will be more than expected, not after they're done. Ok, whatever, misunderstandings happen - I can understand that, but instead of taking some of the blame and trying to work with you, they will make up 100 other excuses to try to keep their money and charge you more. My appointment took only 15 minutes longer than it normally does but I was charged an extra $100: total of $185 (a price for a full set) instead of $85 which is a price for a normal fill. The math here makes no sense. Last time I was 2 days late to make and appointment (they require no more than 3 weeks between the appointments), and they again wanted to charge me a price for a full set. They claim you need to have 20% of the lashes left for a 'fill' but in reality they don't even look at that. They only look for ways to charge you more. I feel scammed and disgusted with their customer service. And since it happened repeatedly, I am speaking out to have others warned about this place as well. read more

I've been going to Rachel for almost three years now for my lashes. I absolutely love them every single time I go in. I can honestly say I have never been disappointed or dissatisfied. By far the best price and best lashes you can get in Fort Collins! I go to her for all my spa needs like waxes and tints. She does an amazing job every time. Highly recommend her!!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I had my eyelashes done, and to be honest i had a few of my own missing. Thats why i went to them. They explained in the beginning that they were going to do the best they could because my eyelashes were very damaged. I understood. They said that they were going to last at least 2 weeks... well ! I went to Aussie Lashes for an eyelash tint and I was super excited because it was my first time getting them done! However, I will say my experience was okay. My lashes didn't come out super dark and I was unimpressed out of all honesty. The aesthetician was awesome, super friendly and kind, but when I was at the front desk the customer service was a little poor. I recommend getting to know the place before going in, I wish I was leaving super impressed but unfortunately I wasn't:( read more

Well I have to say that I had a terrible experience with Aussie Lashes. I had been going to them for years, but when I set up my last appointment, they didn't mention they had moved from Fort Collins to Loveland. So when I showed up to my appointment the building was empty. I had left my phone at home so I had to go home and call them to find out that they had moved. But they said because I was late for my appointment they were going to charge me a $35 no-show fee. When I complained, they said they would do me a favor and charge me but give me credit for $35 worth of future services. I complained again that it wasn't my fault that they didn't tell me they had moved, but I drove to Loveland from Fort Collins to get my eyebrows tinted anyway. When I got to Loveland, what should've been "We're really sorry we didn't tell you we moved when we made the appointment with you and that we screwed up the no-show charge," turned into "You're just a troublemaker." There were about four employees and customers, including the owner, who all decided to gang up on me to bully and insult me about what a bad person I was. At one point I wondered if it was going to get physical! (Now I wish I had had the where-with-all to video it.) I did get the charge reversed and got my eyebrows tinted for free, but I think the owner tinted them blonde instead of dark brown just to get revenge. I got a laser treatment to remove an unsightly vein under my eye! I couldn't be happier with the results! In just two sessions, the vein is totally gone. It was something I was always insecure about but didn't even know it was possible to get rid of it until I talked with the estheticians at Aussie Spa! I'm not a girly girl by any means and a good friend of mine gave me a Christmas present to get eyelash extensions and my eyebrows micro bladed here. Tara was hilarious and very gentle with the whole process and made the experience awesome! She paid attention to every little detail and all my questions and requests. The lashes looked absolutely gorgeous and looked like I had beautiful natural lashes. My eyebrows look amazing and now my mornings are so much easier no more battles with the brows or mascara! I can't say enough about the Excellent customer service this place provides! Tara is always so accommodating and does her best to give me appointments that suit my crazy schedule! Very grateful that she does this for me. She certainly goes out of her way to make her customers happy! She does my lash extensions and is so meticulous and truly takes pride in her work and it shows with the finished product! I love getting compliments on my lashes because of the great job she does! Aussie Lashes is very clean and comfortable. They also have many tanning beds and offer spray tans. I'll be doing a spray tan in the next few weeks and will post a review after I do my spray tan.
