Extremely impressed with this laundromat very well lit lots of parking spaces many areas for sitting did I mention that is very well lit there's many ways to make payment for the machines you can buy one of the preload cards and just load money onto it and then just swipe or you can download the app and load money in that way if you have lots of laundry to do you could spread across different machines or you can use one of the crazy gigantic super jumbo jumbo size where you could do like literally 10 loads of laundry and best of all this is great too also use for bedding and large blankets it's amazing once you use it once you realize how you got your laundry done without it plus they're open 24 hours what more can you ask for the library is around the corner and catch up on your reading or they frequently have books outside that you can take for free read more

First time here and I'm in love . No quarters needed they give the option for a card or use the app. Dry clean and the owner or manager was polite and spoke once he noticed us . He was also very helpful to other customers that were new in the area . This is my type of place , I'll definitely be back . He was so friendly and welcoming, and honestly made me feel like I was doing laundry at home. Kinda surprised by all the positive reviews. I went in for the first time today and was surprised at how old the place looked inside. There was an attendant (I think) outside folding laundry and she gave me a mean look when I first walked in. I'm not sure why the negative energy but whatever. The machines were easy enough to work but the advertised free WiFi is a mystery. You need a password and I didn't see any posted anywhere. So no WiFi for me. Also, quite a few of the other people inside would leave their carts in front of the used washing machines and one even got an attitude when I asked her to move her cart so I could retrieve my laundry. The whole experience wasn't positive and I wouldn't come back. Very unfriendly and cramped. read more

The older chunky lady working today in the morning 6/19/26 is RUDE I asked for the restroom and she rudely told me to wait because she was too busy conversing with another customer washing her clothes. I patiently waited for about 5 minutes nearby for her to be done but there was not one ounce of urgency or acknowledgment towards me. I went back outside to wait. I came back in about 10 minutes later because now I really had to go use the restroom but when I asked her again nicely!! By the way I wasn't rude to her she was just weird.. anyways I asked again and she's like no I'm leaving already and walked out SO FAST like oh my goodness you frog eyed lady it's not that hard to just set aside some time to open the damn door for the restroom!! Each washer and dryer has directions and also what type of load it could fit. If you have never used one of these before like me I thought the directions were very helpful! So read everything around you and this will make your clothes come out nice and fresh! We did a few loads of laundry and this seriously was the easiest thing I have ever used! I actually saw your 5am employee cleaning the place -- and he had a MESS of cleaning to do! That employee said "hello" FIRST! (a pet peeve of mine at other businesses) and made me welcome in HIS store! It's the customers that are messing you up, not the help. I honestly don't know what to suggest. I don't want Drop A Load, er, Sierra Madre Laundry to become one of those unsafe places the cops are always at down at the bottom of the hill. After being frustrated by all the laundromats in my area and how early they closed, I found this gem on Google & I had a great experience!! Jimmy greeted me within a few minutes of me being there and I can't begin to explain how comfortable that made me being a first time laundromat goer. The atmosphere was clean and all the washers and dryers were as well. They wash GREAT and I didn't have to go more than 15 minutes on the dryer. Really powerful machines!! Jimmy was kind enough to share a little about the owner and how dedicated she and her team are, which I love to hear. He said that she even comes and works on the machines herself which I think is awesome!! Clean environment, even when busy there are always machines available. Has a change machine and most machines take coins or you can use their app for mobile payment. Jimmy is usual there and is super helpful - when I was pregnant he gave me bottled water and helped carry my things! The area is safe and you can sit outside and wait or take a walk around the town. I'm surprised to see the sudden increased in the dryer. Before it with 50 cents to start for 18 minutes, now it's $1.25 start for 15 minutes! Every quarter is just 3 minutes additional and these dryers are not even new! Also, the newly installed 4 washing machines leaks. Floor is always wet. Went in. Loaded machine with two-load minimum. Inserted quarters. They got stuck right when only two more quarters were needed. Couldn't get the quarters back. Loaded another machine. Same problem at first but got it to work. Told attendant when he arrived. Advised him that I'd lost AT LEAST $2 in quarters. We walked to the machine. Another guest had gotten it to work. She confirmed that the coin slot had been jammed. She gave me $2 in quarters because she'd overheard me. Attendant was quick to declare the problem solved. Still doesn't sit right with me. read more
