I went in to ask about the cost and turn around time for a suit for a funeral. The guy at the counter looked at the clothing, didn't answer my question but went straight to "number?" I'm new, but ok I'll give you my info to get a price. He types in my name and number. Next thing I know he hands me a receipt for $30 and "come back tomorrow" - then walked away with my clothes to the back. Zero to little eye contact, didn't tell me what time the next day it would be ready. He's gone in the back of the shop and I'm holding a receipt, feeling left out of the equation. I asked for my clothes back, he was visibly frustrated and took my receipt back. In my opinion, the way a place treats their customers tells you how they treat their work. No thanks. I went to another place. The owner there gave me the cost upfront and even asked about the funeral and offered condolences. I'll even pay a bit more any day for better service and a bit of humanity. read more

Stopped by to get some dry cleaning done. It is in a plaza located on Baldwin. However, the parking lot is separated into 2 sections. Have to beware of where you park if you are coming for the dry clean. A gentleman served me, and he was very nice and helpful. There was one time I forgot to bring my receipt when I come pick up my dry clean, and he helped me out. Pricing is reasonable. Will continue to come back. read more

I really appreciated May , the owner, who is a talented seamstress. She does all my alterations herself! It was Friday after work that I had to rush out of the house to take my coat for dry cleaning but it was past 5:00 PM already and I needed it back to wear on Sunday. The dry cleaners in the Von's store could not take my coat because they can't get it done on time. I searched for the nearest dry cleaners through google and found this Quick Clean Center. I hurriedly drove there because they close at 6:00 PM. It was a relief that they could do it Friday and get it back Saturday for only $12.00. My family usually goes here to get their clothes dry cleaned so I decided to drop off my jacket. I recently bought this jacket and haven't washed it on my own. Unfortunately after the dry cleaning service, my jacket got ruined.. I thought dry cleaning was supposed to prevent clothes from bleeding (since the jacket is red) but apparently not? Horrible service! Don't bring your business here. They are terrible people. I went to pick up for my wife and both the lady and the guy had big time attitude issue. First the lady cannot find the garment which was paid for in her system. Then the guy had a light bulb moment and realize which piece it was. He then proceeded to say negative comment regarding my wife. He commented that "This was dropped off by the lady that was crying about it". Really?! I thought I heard it wrong because how could a business be so rude and say something like this to a customer? Then, he added in a very negative tone of voice "It's been here over a month". Well, I guess you won't have any of our garments so you don't have to worry about having them at your business for an extended period of time! When I was a kid, my mommy taught me to say please and thank you, to look someone in the eye and smile when you speak with them, to treat others with respect you might expect in return. But then, I recalled my last visit to Quick, during which I witnessed a well-dressed customer making surly demands and treating the owners like rented mules. I was in desperate need of a reliable and relatively cheap dry cleaning service. I found this place had great reviews on Yelp and it is close enough to drop off my suits and pick up in a couple of days. This place is great if you can overlook the congestion of cars and parking in this little shopping center. There's a skate shop on the corner, a pub, 2-3 restaurants, a bakery, a hair salon, some boutique shop, a donut shop, etc. in the shopping center. So to mitigate that ruckus of parking- there are two or three parking spots that are 5 minute spots in front of the cleaners and in front of the hair salon place are 15 minute spots. It's great too because when I picked up my suits, the guy behind the counter yelled, "HEY THOSE ARE 5 MINUTE SPOT" to a girl that walked off to the bakery. She yelled back, "yeah, I KNOW!" What friendly repertoire. Jackets are $7 and suits are $12. Anything else, I have no clue, but this place is honest and they have a candy bowl! I love the candy bowl! It's a sweet touch especially when I'm in the middle of running errands. I picked up the chewy Werthers last time and it was so tasty! read more
