The good is that our countertops are beautiful. The bad has to do with the backsplash. We were shown one sample and "maybe" told there might be a variation. When we opened our backsplash tile boxes 19 of the 72 pretty good sized tiles looked to have an irregular lacy pattern. I went to the store with our "good" tile and one of the " variation " tiles and was simply told that that's the way it is, nothing will or can be done. Well if that's the norm then maybe we should have been shown the original tile with its possible variation. Now we have to modify our backsplash plans and have the "variation " tiles removed by our contractor, modify our backsplash plans and throw away a $125 box of "variation " tiles. Not happy! Lots of options out there, try them. read more

No one wants to be called "Picky picky" or "fussy fussy" but they are compliments when I describe the job Sierra Vista Tile did replacing my kitchen countertop. The crew was SO particular, SO careful to get it right -- especially the tricky maneuver to retain (and not damage) the existing backsplash. The 3 man crew worked steadily and cleaned up the work site beautifully -- and laughed when I suggested they keep on vacuuming throughout the house. Have to say they were a fun bunch -- patient with my frequent peeks in to see progress, knowledgeable in answering questions, and good natured enough to laugh at my jokes. Time line from my first inquiry to completion was 13 business days. Their quote and description of the process was clear. They have an enormous selection of samples and a gigantic outdoor "showroom" of different slabs. Most impressive, Sierra Vista Tile COMMUNICATED with me -- I'd spent the 5 previous weeks wrangling with 2 other companies who either didn't have the "right person" on hand, did not answer phones, or ignored voice messages. This company took advantage of me. They told me they would do a job and failed to do it. Took $3200.00 and to install countertops and reinstall my kitchen sink which they then broke my water faucet, did not reinstall my sink and they it all outside in the dirt and rocks. They are lazy, do a half-ass job, and will not compensate you when they fail to do a job they said they would and didn't do it read more

Business threatened us and ruined our new kitchen Faucet soiled our new carpet. We had a terrible experience with Eric at Sierra Vista Tile Granite Quartz. 520 378-0841. 105 N. 5th St. Sierra Vista AZ 85635 Eric accused us of not wanting to pay our bill even after we paid our tile floor bill in full on the day of their store's install a few months ago. Our counter (granite) from them was a nightmare! Facts will be listed later. After calling the store with a complaint Eric told me that I was being unreasonable and that his floor install supervisor (Robert) said I was a handfull with the floor install. I asked to speak with him but this never happened. For 6 days the 2 of us served assorted drinks, bought lunch and tipped the floor installers. We sat in our TV room, stayed out of their way and restrained our dog and only spoke at the end of each day with compliments on the beautiful job had progressed. That is why I asked is Sierra Vista Tile would use drop cloths as we didn't want our floors to be damaged or dirty! 1 filthy drop cloth and a roll of plastic came on the day of the install. A huge garbage can with cement or grout was sat on my floor along with a very large rusty tool box and some other piece of equipment! I asked them to use a drop cloth! The plastic did not cover my tile and the diaginal strip that was put on the carpet was not stepped on or used under the counter that one installer was caulking over my carpet! There was an unpleasent bathroom incident which I called the store about and Eric's mother offered to come over and clean that room. I declined. Also 2 cans of some kind of product were left open and unattended that really stunk up our home so I finally went into our kitchen and screwed the lids back on them. We all had headaches, sore throats and bloody noses for a few days. Before leaving one installer was using a razor knife on my tile floor! We asked what he was doing and his answer was removing tape! We were told we were lucky to be one of the first customers to have lazor work done instead of the old fashion way. What we really got was Eric, the guy from Scottsdale who sold them the lazor and one of the shop workers having a training session at our home that lasted way over an hour. We understood that the benifit would be no or less cutting. When I questioned this I was told that the new cutting would happen in December or in 2 weeks! Upon discussing the bathroom issue with Eric he informed me that if I had gone with a Lowe's purchase their contract states that each homeowner HAS to relinquish their bathrooms to their installers. This didn't seem right to me so I called Lowe's and asked the head of installs (Chris) and he denied that! Eric lost his temper with me, yelled at me, accused me of not wanting to pay my bill and that he had other customers like me! I told him even though his installers had broken my 4 month old Delta faucet I had not asked him for one thin dime! He then said "you bought the cheapest granite we have!" Yes we did narrow it down to the 2 most reasonable granites only because we still have 1 more room to tile and 3 large rooms to carpet which we planned to buy from his store! Which ofcourse will never happen now! How can a store owner feel it is ok to insult their customer's purchase! Eric threatened to report us to the AZ Contractor's Board, for what I have no idea so I am now reporting him and the store! Our master plumber tried to re-install our faucet but had to sell us another because of the damage. We wxplained that we would try to have Delta re-emberse us because of the life time gaurantee. We paid our bill in full to Sierra Vista Tile! It took me several days to feel well enough to write about this and I would like this to go on flle with any other customer complaints. I have never been treated with such disrespect and in closing I have and will let my friends & neighbors know what happened. read more

Sierra VIsta Tile is THE place to go if you need your kitchen remodeled. We had new counter tops put in complete with full back splash. When you deal with SV Tile it is like dealing with family. I can not believe how accommodating and helpful they were, I called Becky on Friday for someone to come on Tuesday to give me an estimate. Erik came promptly at the appointed time, and measured and discussed our options. We had an on line quote by noon with the various options. We chose to go with quartz by Cambria. The difficult part was choosing a color, but we got lots of help from the Petersen's . We were able to take samples home and had input from our neighbors also. We finally decided on one and it was ordered. A date was set and Erik, Matt and Joe, showed up on a Monday to take out the old counter tops and measure etc for the new ones. This took about 2 hours and with surprisingly little dust etc, then they work their magic on the quartz and were back on Friday to do the install, what a wonderful job they did , by 4PM on Friday we had a gorgeous new kitchen, with the new counter tops and back splashes the entire kitchen looked new. We are so please with our new Cambria Quartz countertops and Sierra Vista Tile is our favorite Kitchen and bath store.
