My kitchen was original to my house, built in the 80s & badly in need of updating! I began brainstorming the new kitchen around 8 years ago & finally decided to look for a company that was equipped to handle removing a wall & rebuilding a functional kitchen. Some just couldn't do the whole project, start to finish, and some seemed a bit iffy as to time frame. From my first contact with Sierra Remodeling, I knew I had the best company! Otto was professional & made me feel at ease from the very first meeting. He was able to take my pencil & graph paper "designs" & transfer them to the computer & make my vision come to life! He listened & responded when I wanted to make changes or pare off a bit of money. I can't say enough about the truly top-notch crews who did the work!!! Jeremy, as project manager, was extremely available to listen & answer my questions. Frank, Larry, Justin, Gerald, Cody & Bob were all amazing craftsmen, professional & very pleasant to have around. They tolerated my critters & my dogs are missing them now! The electricians, quartz countertop fitters & plumbers were also very professional & efficient...Zach, Cristian, Chris & Izzy & Dennis as well as the men they each worked with, whose names I didn't get. I contacted these folks twice trying to get them to call me to set-up an appointment for a quote for a significant amount of renovations to my existing home. No one contacted me. Finally, on my third call to them, a lady began taking my information, When I said the work would be in Tucson, AZ she said, "We do not work in Tucson...." OK, their website CLEARLY STATES their service area includes TUCSON. This organization has some serious issues to remedy. You can't make this stuff up........ read more

I finally have the kitchen I've been dreaming of, and it's all because of the fine people at Sierra Remodeling and Home Builders. From start to finish, Mike and his team made sure that every detail was accounted for and executed flawlessly. Larry and Frank did such a wonderful job prepping the space, and Larry did a stellar job on the cabinet installation. Gerald came over to help finish the job and honestly, there is not ONE person who was involved with this remodel who I wasn't just 100% pleased with, from the plumbing to Cody's backsplash tiling to the countertop install. Not only are they super dog-friendly, they also clean up after themselves daily, as well! They listen, they take lots of notes, they make adjustments and then they make it happen. I contracted with Sierra Remodeling for a complete kitchen remodel in September 2022. I didn't want to go to a big box store. The project started the first week of October 2022. Otto, the project manager, gave me a timeline of when to expect the contractors. Every contractor that was involved in the project showed up on the date they were scheduled and were on time. I am impressed with the attention to the details they all made. The carpenter and cabinet installer, Larry, was so friendly and his craftsmanship was above notch. The contractors and project manager offered suggestions and made recommendations that gave me a finished product I am extremely excited about. The granite countertops are gorgeous. Like any construction project, there were a few things I changed mid project and had extra costs for unforeseen issues, but they were all reasonably affordable. I would recommend Sierra Remodeling to my friends and family. One of the best decisions I've made it to contract with this company. read more

They were recommended by Home Depot. They came and took measurements for a shower door and never called us back. I called Dierra to get quote and wmeas yold they'd call me back. No call. I then called Home Depot when i got an email that my referral had been closed and yhey said theyd call me back. So i called HD again to get another contractor referral and they never called me back again. I guess business is so good that neither need my business. Ill go somewhere else. We signed a contract in September of 2021 to have a covered patio enclosed as an Arizona Room. It only required three walls, (which are mainly windows and/or doors) and a drywall ceiling. We were promised the project would start in January of 2022 because their scheduling was all tied up til then. This was fine with us, for we were in no hurry at the time and the warm weather was far away. The project didn't get started until late February of 2022. When it finally did, there were scheduling problems, where our workers were pulled from our project for a personal project of the company owner, or there were weeks when no work was done and our project sat. When work was done, some of it was sloppy and we ended up doing the clean up ourselves, (we are in our 70's and it was difficult for us). The final inspection failed because Sierra Remodeling's sub contractor, Sierra Electric did a sloppy job on an electric outlet and an switch box and two, outside lights, which they put in the wrong place, not as shown on the blue prints. After notifying Sierra Remodeling, it took them two more weeks to come back and correct these jobs. Time ran out for the worker to finish the corrections, so we ended up painting what was needed then. The communication with this company was poor, scheduling erratic, work done poorly and the hardie board siding was put on without the proper training for this special siding, which now causes us great concern for the siding's future. It wasn't put on to the specific specifications of the James Hardie Company and is, without doubt with a voided warranty because of the lack of proper install. This Hardie siding is not to be installed as vinyl or any other type of siding, because of it's specific requirements. We will not be recommending these companies, Sierra Remodeling & Home Builders and Sierra Electric to friends and neighbors, nor will we use them for our planned future projects. read more

We had to have our roof repaired in a few places, and our skylight repaired entirely, after the windstorm of early October 2021. Sierra Remodeling did a fine job -- a great job -- I can't imagine any better job. They even fixed a few bits of damage I hadn't noticed, and gave some tips about roof maintenance in the next few years. We are truly happy campers, thanks to Sierra Remodeling. read more
