Since the door of their physical office lists LUCO Construction and LUCO Land Development side by side, but the Construction one is listed as surveyors, my review is about that, I guess. Wow, I feel that this is a business that should NEVER get any more of the same. They did a survey of our neighbor's parcel for their upcoming sale, and in my opinion totally creamed the back corner of our yard that was next to the parcel that was supposed to get surveyed. Damaging/killing at least two plantings in our yard, and leaving our corner area with a big unfilled hole in the ground, etc. And, after contacting them, all they can say is, "We tried to fix it as best as we can." As best as you can? I feel that the best as you can is leaving it as is or better than OUR yard was. I feel that damaging our yard is inexcusable. I think leaving it that way, and not rectifying it, is total crap. Not that I am an expert, but I tried to look up on Illinois government sites if there is a licensed surveyor affiliated with LUCO, I couldn't find one. If anyone wants to use them for surveying, maybe you'd want to ask if their IL license is current. If you can find one, please post the link.
