Poor workmanship and unprofessional. I hired Mike's to remove and replace a large portion of my driveway that had wheel ruts in it. As they were completing the job, they tried to charge me more than the agreed price. Within 6 months, the ruts were back. Mike came out to look at it, and told me it was "good enough" and he would not fix it. Does that sound like a company you want to hire? read more

We hired Mike's to sealcoat a very large driveway that had numerous cracks and issues. They provided a prompt estimate, arrived on time on the day they did the work, were very professional, and did a fantastic job. Unfortunately, due to the size of the cracks, some of the tar they applied peeled up over the next few days. Since we had already paid them, we were concerned that we would never see them again. I emailed pictures of the problem spots and heard back within hours saying that they would be back in a couple days to fix everything. They were back promptly on the day stated and fixed everything to our satisfaction. The guys were polite, professional and efficient. We had our sinking driveway raised a few inches by the garage door, which looks awesome, we had the asphalt extend out so people wouldn't run over the grass, and they have sealcoated our driveway each year. We had this company seal our driveway 2 years ago. They said they would clean out the cracks and fill the holes with a substance to keep weeds from growing and then seal entire driveway. When I returned from work to see the job, the cracks were full of weeds and it appeared as if this company just painted over them. I called and explained concerns to which someone was supposed to come out and correct. No one ever came back to our house or answered my messages. It was a waste of $600. This company came out to sealcoat our driveway which had not been done in many, many years. It looks fantastic. I was so pleased with the guys who showed up on Labor Day to fix my poor, sad looking driveway. They were so pleasant and answered all of my stupid questions.....there were many!!!! Our home was scheduled for Sealcoating and Crack Filling yesterday. I don't know the name of the tech but he was as professional as I've ever met. He called to let me know he was on the way. When he got here he rang the doorbell, introduced himself and reviewed his assignment. The he went about his business only stopping to greet my wife when she returned home. When done he cleaned up and left us with a great looking driveway hang filled all the cracks and giving the edges special treatment. We are so happy with Mike's SealCoating! We saw the few reviews they had and thought we would try them out. They were priced higher than other estimates we had received, but figured after reading the 5 star reviews, they would be worth it. Wrong. They showed up around 4:45 in the afternoon. You could tell they were in a rush to finish their day, literally running around. The proposal we received stated "power brushing" and "priming oil spots" neither of which they did. The "power brushing" was a main reason we chose them because nobody else offered that. They did just like every other sealcoating company does, trim the grass edges and blow off the driveway. Also, we now have a medium sized spot in the driveway that I feel is due to not getting primed. In the end, not worth the extra cost. read more

After reading the other review and checking their website, we contacted them to do crack repair and sealcoating at our home. The co. we used previously was just ok. Well, I'm SO glad we called Mike's. They are very professional, communicative and took great care in protecting my abutting terrace pavers. Our driveway is absolutely stunning! Hi. This group was referred to us from our Asphalt Paving company that originally replaced our driveway. I love the work Mike's did. Very good on the edge condition coverage. I have a Paver Brick Border. No Seal coat was on the Bricks. Nice straight edge covering the paving only. Also - They are sensitive to weather conditions. The main office calls if weather conditions are not good for proper application and drying time. The foreman calls 15 minutes ahead of arrival to confirm that cars are cleared. Love the work they did and love the customer service. They are competitively priced. Use these guys so they are still around in 2-3 years when I want to re-applied. read more

This is the second time I've had Mike's Sealcoating seal our driveway and how wonderful to find a company that does a great job and communicates with you. Due to the rainy weather, we had to reschedule 3 times. They called me each time by 8 in the morning to let me know it would be delayed. When we were finally able to get a non-rainy day, they asked that I'd be sure to have the driveway clear. When the guys showed up, they rang the bell and explained everything they were going to do. He asked me where I wanted a quite heavy planter that I forgot to move off the driveway. I went to grab it to move it and he said, no, "let me move it for you, where do you want it?" They even warned me they may have a little trouble with staying in the lines of a short patch that went into my garage and asked if I wanted them to seal it. I said yes and they didn't even go over the lines. Not a speck of sealant on my siding that butts up to the driveway (unlike when my hubby tries to do it on his own). I have a very old driveway and it looks terrific! I highly recommend these guys!! read more

I recently had Mike's Sealcoating do an asphalt repair for a broken part of my driveway and then sealcoat the whole drive. They did a wonderful job! The driveway was just over a year old and when a utility truck put equipment in my driveway and cracked off the edge of the new asphalt inside the pavers. I was worried how the broken area could get cut out and new asphalt poured in and not be noticeable or ruin the brick pavers that lined the driveway. You would never know where the repair was done. The work was very smooth and the sealcoating blended everything together. I have had sealcoating before from a different company where they slopped up black tar on my white garage doors that doesn't come off!! I know have new garage doors many years later from a house addition and Mike's company was so neat and the pavers and my new garage doors were not touched! Thank you Mike's Sealcoating.
