A seat broke and they want me to pay almost 2k to ship it to Maui. A recall came in and because there is no dealer on island they won't do anything about. My steering system completely came off its assembly while on the ocean, my ballast tanks are not working, they first told me to remove the ballast module and send it over and they would send me a replacement. Well now I just got a txt from them saying that they cannot longer comunícate with me and that I have to do it all Troy Yamaha corporate. The funny thing is Yamaha says all warranty claims need to be handled trough the dealer. So it looks like Yamaha and Rivercity clearly spoke and said to each other "let's screw this guy, we already got his money, let us handle him we are a big corporate company and have in house lawyers". Stay out from this dealer they don't care about nothing else than making a sale and taking your money, and as much as Yamaha use to be a reliabale company, we'll after COVID they no longer, their quality control went down big time and they hide behind warranty and lawyers to don't respond for their products. STAY AWAY or found it by yourself. Hopefully my experience will help others don't be at the same or similar situation

I spoke to Tim and explained what I needed. He said they normally don't do much painting, but had someone who has been with the shop over 30 years that had a lot of experience over the years. He asked for some pics which I sent. He called me back the next morning and said they could do it. I really appreciated Tim's responsiveness and professionalism. I brought it in to them and explained I needed it back within 10 days. They were able to get it back to me in that time and the motor looks great. Tim gave me an update call during the process which I appreciated. The price was more than fair. Tim estimated a range of hours it would take and shared the hourly rate. The price was for time and materials. In the end, the cost was the best case scenario for me. Thank you Tim and Steve (who did the work). Tight lines.

I was traveling to Oregon for this install and spoke to Ryan on the phone twice. He sent an invoice and we set an appt time. I showed up the install bay was waiting for me and 2 days later a new 200hp outboard had been professionally installed and water tested. His lead technician Jason walked me through a very thorough tutorial on the differences and maintenance procedures from my old outboard to the new one before I left the yard. I highly recommend them for their professionalism and no nonsense approach to their customers.

They gave me great value for the boat as I took care of it very well and maintained the boat like it should be maintained. Buzz was my salesman and he and Alec treated me with respect and he educated me on knowledge of this boat and how it's designed for big water and choppy water. I've been nothing but tickled to death with this boat so far. I do plan on going to The boat show this year in 26 but no plans to buy a new boat. Just ready for upgrades. These guys do great work. They're honest and fair.

Alec is wonderful to work with: knowledgeable, calm, confident. We made a big purchase with him,…read morewhich will likely impact restaurant Yelping but will increase my Columbia River destination Yelping, so it all evens out. But I digress: NBC has new and used boats for sale and carries what we consider the top tritoons on the market. When I first met Alec a few months earlier, I found him to be an experienced boater and a solid salesperson who can advise people through the options of pimping your watery ride. He was clear about what not to upgrade considering the context of how we plan to use the boat. He gave us handy tips: --get the enclosure locally; it's higher quality and less $$ --no need for the $2,000 upgrade on pontoon protectors --the upgrade on the upholstery won't pan out for water rats like us --stereo upgrade--vital for people like him; not for us bookworms As I continued to ask, "Anything else?" Alec revealed more details--that pump upgrade on the commode. Yes, please. Anything else?" No need for extra lighting, 12 volt charging stations beyond the standard issue. Anything else?" Consider the tow bar and the extra battery if you envision.... Yup. We do. Good catch, Alec. You get the point. Alec was helpful, patient and made himself available on a busy boat show weekend with long hours and possibly junky food. I'll let you know in April 2018, when we get our new boat, if anything goes amiss. Right now, I'm confident we chose the right company and representative for an important purchase. Stay tuned!
