The first issue occurred on the installation day, when Erik messaged me to say the carpet had not arrived yet. He was apologetic and explained what had happened, but we would still have to wait another week for it to arrive. The second issue occurred after his team removed my old carpet: they found the tiles underneath contained asbestos and needed to be sealed, for an additional cost. (I've never seen such a good job before!) Letty did mention that I chose a soft back carpet and that makes a big difference in reducing any damage. The quality of the install was also great. All of the seams are well blended and don't show. There aren't any defects and it looks great! He is very knowledgeable on all different aspects of remodeling, but leaves more difficult electrical and plumbing work to other experts on his team. Mark was also great on giving a good time estimate, leaving the jobsite as clean as possible, and being very flexible during the construction process if we wanted to change or add something. We purchased a lot of the main design materials (ie. vanities, cabinets, toilets, showers, hardware, etc) ahead of the work in order to take advantage of sales and purchase exactly what we wanted.
