From the beginning, Eric and Cole were very responsive & helpful in assisting us with material and color selections and suggested products with superior quality & durability while staying within our budget. After months of shopping around, we decided to have David's team install LVP, carpet and handle all our millwork and casings which included complicated compound angles on our staircase. Their workmanship and attention to detail was very professional and more than met our picky expectations. The old-school honesty and integrity of everyone on David's team was truly refreshing. Eric managed our project and kept it on-time and on-budget. His attention to communication was impressive & timely even at 10pm at night and on weekends. We requested a few change orders along the way and they were charged at straight time and materials without the extra mark-ups most contractors tack on. Adrian was our onsite supervisor and was there every minute of every day. The flooring lead, Sergey and the carpet lead, Hector kept me informed and made suggestions that improved our end result. Over the last 42 years our family has built a number of custom homes and the experience with David's flooring was by far the best and was actually enjoyable. This job involved removing some laminate flooring, lining and cutting parts of the floor precisely, and ensuring the transition is smooth. I also dealt with the owner as all other reviews say you will which is nice. It truly is a small family business. Cons: I don't know if you'd call this a con but is worth mentioning. This is a VERY small company. A family business. I prefer supporting a family business but I also expected a "team" to come lay my plank flooring and only one person came alone and was here until 8pm- almost a 12 hour day! He did a perfect job. The quality is unmatched and I am very pleased. Also, there were a couple instances of running late and we had to call them to check up - it would have been nice if we would have gotten a call instead of us having to reach out.
