Originally gave them a 2 star review a couple weeks ago, changing it to one star. They came out today to replace four bathroom wall tiles and they are not even close to the right color. Also told them of the wall outlet that doesn't work and the person I talked to said he would look at it while he was here. Well, another worker showed up, didn't know anything about the outlet and it took 4 hours to replace the tile. I didn't check the tile until after the worker left as they had been often I figured they could at least get the color right. I cannot express enough how difficult it has been to work with thia company and would not recommend them to anyone. read more

Almost a year ago one of your people came into my home to help remodel my bathroom. I gave her $1500 and ended up with a toilet I didn't want-I'm short and specifically said I did not want a chair height toilet, but that's what I ended up with. So a toilet and install for $1500, then I didn't hear much for the next month or more. When I did hear from someone it was a new person cause Angela no longer worked for the company. The new woman came once wearing white jeans-it was raining and my dogs jumped all over her with their muddy paws-her parting statement to me was they were a high end company and I couldn't afford them! So for $1500 I got a toilet installed that I didn't want and a not very nice woman tell me I couldn't afford to do business with them! Not a very Christian way of doing business! read more

They came to my door advertising their services. Coincidentally, I needed a contractor. They had experience and I thought I'd take a chance, so after a good conversation with their sales person, who took a tour of my home, I called and set an appointment to get a bid. For many reasons the bid was very time-sensitive and I told them this. They strung me along with excuse after excuse. "Jake got married." "The 4th of July." "The crew got busy." What about the two weeks before the holiday or Jake's wedding? Isn't there anyone else who can work on the bid? Why didn't they simply call/text/e-mail me to let me know they were not available. Honesty is important. When they did contact me, they said they were available any time during a specified few days, so I sent back a request for a day and time when they said they were available. I was at the house, they never showed, and did not communicate. They are unprofessional and un-communicative. It was clear I was not a priority. Other companies actually want the business. The same day they did not show up, I decided on another company who wanted the business. A few days later Jake asked for the business and I told him he's a flake. Not interested. I'd run like heck from this company. Of course, your mileage may vary, but my experience was initially very positive, but they flaked out totally leaving me with bad taste and too close to the deadline for my taste. read more

In my experience, they came out to bid my project, and in the process of so doing, they tried to convince me that I needed a huge amount of work done at great expense to me, and even tried to upsell me some stuff that was not needed, but we could "use my insurance" to cover. When I got 2nd & 3rd opinions, I was told that was all a farce and I got my issue fixed properly for a small fraction of the price. To start: Working with Signature has been by far the *best* experience I have had in my time working with contractors--from start to finish!!!! A bit detail: When I started the roof project, I finally had about $6,000 saved (so proud). I went on yelp to select three contractors and called them. Of the three, only Signature immediately returned my call. I scheduled for the week, and Jesse Martin came over to discuss the project and Signatures product. Jesse was on time (a trend he continued) and was MOST, MOST professional--tremendous communicator. He was calm, friendly, patient, and made sure to not give me the hard sell. Most important, he said we should put in a claim to the insurance to see whether my roof has been damaged. We started the insurance process and Chris (Signature's project manager) and Jesse were at my house an hour prior to my insurance adjuster. Chris got on the roof and chalked every spot that was damaged. It turned out to be quite a bit. Once my adjuster came, they both went on the roof again and discussed. The process was incredibly thorough and took about 2 hours. I was amazingly impressed with Chris and Jesse and how professionally they interacted with the insurance adjuster. Turns out my roof had significant damage and Signature began the process of working with my insurance. Jesse, who was my main contact via text and phone, told me to let Signature manage the approval process and project. I did. Here, I was so, so impressed with the thoroughness and immediate communication. Jesse always kept me in the loop, was incredibly responsive to my questions, and was just present. We needed to dismount my AC as well; again, Jesse worked with my HVAC person and my insurance to get that added. Just absolutely fantastic!!!! Once we scheduled the roof replacement, the crew of 5 (or 6) were at my house 6:45a SHARP. The old roof was off by 8 and the new roof was on by 5 when I came back home. The crew was AWESOME!!!! Super friendly. I got them a round of donuts and gave them $100.00 for lunch. Nicest, nicest people. Since then (about 6 weeks) I found MAYBE 5 nails. Clean-up was amazing. The last step was to get my insurance check to Signature. That took a bit because my mortgage company needed to endorse it. That process took about 6 weeks; that is how long Signature needed to wait for its money. Here again, I worked wit Nikki, who was super, super patient. I checked in with her regularly, and she was very kind and understanding. I really, really, really appreciated it. All in all, the entire Signature crew--the actual roofers, Jesse, Chris, Nikki--blew my gasket: each and every one of them were professional, respectful, and experienced--and most of all, extremely, extremely reliable and always on time. I never once felt ignored. I actually recommended Signature to my neighbors and they got approved as well. Signature gave me a little thank you with a $100.00 off. Though we didn't use Signature Home Services to complete a job, we did receive a bid from one of their sales reps, Jed. Jed was awesome to deal with. We had them quote French doors that we wanted to replace our patio doors in the rear of the home that will eventually lead into a 3-season porch. Jed was informative and was patient with answering all of our questions. Clearly we had questions because we can't do this stuff, but they can. Jed provided a quote that was very reasonable and more than half less than one of the quotes we received. Ultimately, we went another direction because of the style of door we wanted though Jed did offer to quote that as well. I would recommend Signature Home Services for jobs and trust them to complete one for me if not for my own inconsistency on deciding on what I want for my home. Signatures core values described on their home page and multiple other pages indicate " operating with integrity in everything we corporately say and do " backed up with a christian lead in is pure lip service !!!! After 3 lengthy explanation phone calls with concerns and questions not 1 of them has been returned or given the business courtesy of a response. We experienced inconsiderate and negligent workers during shingle removal, during breaks and lunch with food product materials and cans strewn in our yard, with property disregard with the material repair products and equipment haphazardly placed in our yard with no concern for our underground sprinkler system and finally an incomplete clean up of our yard without concern for us or our grandchildren with the nails and broken shingle pieces. Had the first phone call been returned much of this could have been avoided or cleared up. Again - BE CAREFUL !! Signature may offer services and you may check other reviews but frankly they didn't fulfill their "core values " description. read more

Signature Home Services is a competent business with good values that takes care of their customers. They have made many improvements to our home over the years. We had them install a new roof and siding and they worked closely with our insurance company so we didn't have to. We also had them install new windows throughout our home, replacing some with much larger picture windows. They worked closely with us by really listening to what we wanted and making recommendations to make sure we would love the end result. We also had them install new covered gutters on our home. They are very responsive both during the job and afterward. They charge a fair price and they stand behind their work. As with any big job, sometimes we had questions.
