My stylist did a great job on the top of my long hair, and I didn't notice till I got home (lots of glare in the salon) that the bottom front areas had no highlights. I'd spent nearly $200 and got less than expected, so I called to see if the stylist could just put two more highlights in. Was told that bc I couldn't come in right away, since I was going out of town for 10 days, there would be a charge for a "redo." Corporate policy. I explained that I was traveling and couldn't come in for almost two weeks, and didn't need a redo anyway, just two highlights, one on each side. It didn't matter. This was not Hanes Mill Rd as given in the pulldown, but another in Winston-Salem, and I assume all salons would be as rigid.

The price is as advertised, and no working out on a calculator additional tax charges or in your face requesting tips (unlike other hair salons!) So professional. I will be a regular customer. Big mistake!! My extremely long hair is now two different lengths and it looks like someone took clippers to my hair and stopped at my ears. My hair is ruined. I called when I got home to speak to an owner but they weren't there and I left a message. The next morning around 10, I hadn't heard from anyone so I called back. One of the other girls said the owners would call me later. An hour later the girl who cut my hair called me and gave me attitude and said the hair dresser next to her had 11 years of experience so that should make it better? I just told her to refund my money. I asked her to cut my girls' hair in cute chin-length bobs. She cut both of their hair way shorter. She cut it basically up to their ears. They seriously had bowl cuts. It has taken four months for their hair to grow to the chin-length style i originally requested. As for my hair, i was trying to let it grow out. I asked her to try and even out any layers I had and to not add anymore. She definitely cut it shorter than I requested and added layers! I let it grow for three months before I went to another salon. The stylist was shocked at how bad of a cut I had received. Original review-- Karla is wonderful. My daughters and I came in to get haircuts, and we left very pleased with our new hairstyles. My girls are 3 & 4, and they have never had their hair cut so well before. Karla took her time to ensure their hair cuts came out perfect. From past experiences, other hair salons have cut my girls' hair quickly and not very well.
